Being with 5 co in my career, I ve never even seen a Pres or VP this bad....
And horrible decision making with operations and hiring...

I would not even have her as a 1st line manager. She couldnt motivate Deepak Chopra!
Dan needs to cut bait & hire a real female leader who has good decision making and is inspiring, not a fake who used BS to climb ranks faked it until she made it.
 


















Jim M was the best but it’s not Johanna is the worst. She just has too much crap to clean up by VP’s that made seriously poor decisions that cascade both ways. It’s why the previous woman was ousted so quick. Was here to be CCO and not janitor at large. Look at the senior leadership. Not the executives. Self preservation at its finest by people not qualified or appointed by the buddy system.
 












Yet another vial issue under Joanna s leadership. Absolutely embarrassing & shareholders have lost tens of millions if not billions from her poor leadership & oversight.
3rd vial issue that we know of that hit the press.
We need to demand for her termination.

Dummies. Dan came to gilead to figure out stock and get rid of the crap decisions made over the years and balance the portfolio. He brought Jo over to optimize commercial which yesteryear folks ran well but hit a wall. Be honest with yourselves. We need more pipeline. We need more trimming of the fat. Otherwise stock will reflect hiv only around 40-50 forever.

hire real vp’s, get rid of excess and bring on actual expertise. Hell, we can’t even keep talent anymore as we more into bms.
 






Need a pipeline since Trov was sold pipe dream and Mag is turning out to be swamp land while IG execs enjoy their private island from the Lemon Sale.
Dan needs to buy some products, not companies, in the virology & immunology space while continue HIV R/D.

First off Gilead is not a biotech…. It’s a big pharmaceutical company that is manged like big pharma. If you want real biotech you need to leave but the problem with leaving Gilead is you will have to actually work in small biotech. Gilead rewards non workers and pretenders… you know who you are… The RDs that talk a good game but spend time in the field. The rep that works 2 days a week. The NAMs and SAMs that travel for the sake of traveling with no appointments. You want to know what the problem at Gilead is… no leadership and no accountability… they all talk a good game but no one holds anyone accountable it all starts at the top. Also everyone and I mean everyone is overpaid. It’s sad what they charge in the name of helping people…. Covid is perfect example of the biggest money grab in pharmaceutical history.. lay-off the covid team as covid is spiking… that alone someone should be fired.

Spot on. Gilead currently run by big pharma third rates bringing in other rejects to burn cash and resources. If you still own shares the only way to get the stock up is to clean house.

Not everyone is overpaid. I'm not overpaid. I'm making a little more in salary here than my previous company but the bonus is half of what I made at the other place. The benefits are much better at Gilead but that's it. Metrics didn't dictate all we did at the other place either. It's about a wash between the two I'd say. All that said, I know people that ARE definitely overpaid here. It's dumbfounding especially when many that are making close to 200K salary are not even that good. All politics here.
 






She & Stu has ruined Oncology
Never got off the ground, instead just created a canyon. Some decisions are like they have never been in Oncology or clueless to the market. Either way, Onc is toast. Kite has a better chance exceeding & difference is Kite doesn't have Joanna & Stu in charge.
If not for covid, Gilead stock would be in the 20s.
