Drivers in Teterboro Join Union

I'm saddened that this is the mentality. There are many people who believe in Unions.

It is a sad commentary on the culture and conditions of the company. Unions have been shrinking over the decades but are thriving at Quest. In recent times phlebs in California and drivers in New Jersey have said no to the company and yes to unions.

And soon they will be saying yes to their new employer, Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits. Ya’ll Good!

What a witty response....don't think I ever heard that one... did it take you a long time to come up with it?

All good comedy has an element of truth. The reality that the drivers will soon be serving up chicken sandwiches with red beans and rice is more ironic and justified than funny though. They were all in and eager to go when they applied for the job. What changed? Nothing! Well good riddance, drivers. And you best not forget my biscuit and honey the next time I order a 2 piece.

The Facts( which I know you like to ignore) are that there were changes....among them were reduction of paid time off, reduction in overtime earnings, cut to the employee stock purchase plan, etc. Those are indisputable facts. Add in the pervasive perception that they were being paid at below market rates and they go union. It's also about trust and the facts are that they chose to trust an outsider rather than to trust Quest leadership to be fair.

I think if asked if they trust quest leadership to be fair and honest, most employees would say no.

The racist , Xenophobic tones of this post are so ignorant.

You obviously do not understand that Quest is a logistics company, that makes a Billion Dollars in profit a year on the back of the logistical operation.

It’s infuriating to hear these comments.

Maybe you are trying to be funny.

But it’s not.

Don't think that is accurate.. .logistics while an important element in the chain is not the bread and butter
and it is not a difference maker on a sales call. Our systems and capabilities in that area does not approach the Fedex/UPS level.

Happy Thanksgiving to my union brothers and sisters. Thanks for standing united.

You are in the wrong place if you are looking for those dishonest, filthy rat faced traders. Nothing but loyal, honest, hard working sales professionals on this forum. And just to let you know, if you choked to death on a piece of niblet corn this Thanksgiving, no one at Quest Diagnostics would even care. Hope this helps
