"Do Not Rehire" list?

So, you didn't get the blow job you feel you're entitled to...That's because you're not entitled to anything other than just a paycheck. We are here to sell a product, not nurture deep insecurities that you are battling with regarding your incessant need to make someone's job all about you. It's not! HQ insider here. Two lawsuits so far that may well be be related to the list (one was a EEOC meeting that PSS paid out on) or at least their attorneys will find out after reading this site and then asking for the info during the legal discovery . This may well be the most exciting thing to happen here in a long while. Funny to watch the recruiters and sales mangers calling in to try to distance themselves from this. 1 person involved in this fiasco has already left "to pursue other opportunities" (LOL). Should be fun to watch this progress.

What's the update on these two lawsuits? Any new news?
 






Do Not Rehire List sounds awful strong and would be a lawsuit waiting to happen...CSOs have a ton of churn/turnover...so lets assume your DM prior to contract going down gets to 'evaluate' their reps..maybe have some questions asking would you rehire rep on scale of 1-5 ...just one of many questions for the outgoing DM..no harm there, but all of a sudden your a former rep not getting the call backs for no reason.
 






Most managers that are giving low scores were once given a low score, which could be the reason they are no longer working in BIG pharma. Bitterness and resentment breeds more bitterness and resentment. It's like a virus. Managers seek vendication, but they are unable to get satisfaction from the ones who harmed them. They take it out on someone else while thinking...Well It happened to me, so now it's my turn to do it to someone else.

The list is mostly filled with older tenured reps with a few younger ones thrown in to defend against any discrimination lawsuits. The plan was specifically detailed to the managers: No matter what their history of success, hard work, dedication, and so on, the reps are to be harassed, intimidated, demoralized through overly critical FCRs, non-recognition of a good job, phantom complaints by customers and co-workers, bad performance reviews, etc. The goal is to make these reps feel so worthless as employees and human beings that they will eventually leave and save the company severance and lawsuits. Most of the managers are happily doing this, as they tend to be underachievers and not very talented professionals, as well as miserable human beings themselves. My abm told me that there are a handful of well-known and highly-regarded reps that are being hyper-targeted to send a message to the rest of the targets, so that they will have no feeling of security in their jobs and will go find other employment.

"Old-Timers" and 50+ from PSS won't be bullied!
Young or old - sell or be gone. If you just picked up a crap territory start looking. This year WILL see terminations for poor performance. Reps AND managers alike will be under thumb. The young get extra slack that is true, but not for long.

Share the scoop. Did they tell you about it? I'm starting to think that the list hasn't been updated since the main thread was started over a year ago. I wonder...The company is insane to continue this.

Red flagging an employee to not rehire in an HR restricted data base is acceptable because a lot of companies do that. But sharing this list outside of HR where it's emailed and or printed for everyone involved in the hiring process is TOTALLY asking for BIG trouble. What in he hell are these people thinking?

Who is the recruiter and for what position and area were they using "the list"? that would be helpful to know and to prove your 'knowledge'.

I am beginning to think that this entire thread is just BS and that people want to believe in a conspiracy as opposed to concrete fact. I don't see any evidence that facts exist on any of the postings in this thread. Just see people posing ambiguous statements that are void of any concrete fact.

If you look at the personnel policy link online, it mentions the do not rehire list as a possible consequence of violating some policies. The fact that the list exists isn't secret. I believe you can also find out if you're on it. And if you're firwd, they will likely tell you then if you're going on the list.
