"Do Not Rehire" list?

But why would a DM at Bayer give a shit about Publicis? That's odd...not trying to insult but they could care less about contract sales.

Because Bayer has had several contracts with PSS and I was astonished at the unprofessionalism of the recruiters in proactively sharing this list with us. In all my years in this industry I have seem a lot but nothing as ridiculous as this list PSS developed mostly just to retaliate against people.

The recruiter for Bayer is double dipping and is also a Publicis recruiter.
She uses the Publicis list while recruiting for both companies!

Doesn't surprise me at all. The PSS recruiters are all independent 1099 contractors and are going to do what is best for them, not PSS or the candidates. They are looking to make commissions every direction they can. The idiots at PSS set up this system so they deserve this.

I am planning on using a different firm that is more local to my area. I am a over 50, got the list from someone on here. I am on it although I got great reviews and was told I would get on another contract. There is NO REASON listed as to why I should not be hired so I was put on the list because HR or recruiting thought I was too old. All of a sudden I could not get the recruiters to respond at all to any communication. Very hard to believe just how inept and unprofessional this place is. They desrve everything coming to them and more.

I will help you. The PSS recruiter told me that no candidate who made more than 'in the 70's' would be considered for an opportunity. I asked her if that would not lead to age discrimination because many highly experienced candidates make more than the 70's.
She gave me the name of the person who made that policy. I was not allowed to interview and my applications receive no consideration. I believe age discrimination can be proved in court.

Unless you live in a low cost part of the country 70K is crap. How do you pay the friggin bills?
They want people who can do the job without a babysitter and get result...but will not pay.

The job is a stepping stone for the young...and for them its a very temporary stay.
Longest stick arounds are the older reps who are retired and just need some supplemental income...

This list would explain why several managers have asked me several times about what other contracts I have worked, when I never worked any other contracts. Publicis was the only company I ever applied and interviewed for except for a specialty neuroscience position with Inventiv where I only interviewed with a shady character who had been laid off from big pharma. I have said many times "No. I have not been on any other contract besides here at Publicis!" Then I'll get this confused angry look from managers that indicates that they think I'm lying to them. I was finally told by one of them that he had been given very negative feedback regarding other contracts that I've worked. "I've never worked any other contracts besides this one." ...I again get the angry look like I'm lying. It's beyond f***ing annoying!!! LYING prevails here. I can't wait until I'm gone. I'm going to join the class action if I am able.
Many managers here are complete idiots. This does not surprise me one bit.

A Publicis recruiter from TX called me. The first question she asked was, "how many total years of pharma experience do you have?" I told her.
She then asked me, "Who else do you know that is younger that might be interested in this opportunity?"
I believe she added my name to the do not hire list, once she knew my age.

Post her name

Contacted them and have not heard back. What's the deal?

They are attorneys. Not the most truthful or reliable in the world. Basically they are like the recruiters here, promise everything do next to nothing. You are better off getting a local attorney you can visit in person. The pay off is also much bigger than a class action lawsuit wher the attorneys get almost all the money.

Anyone have the current DNH list or one that is more current?

I am pretty sure the PSS clowns in HR and recruiting stopped circulating the list since this thread appeared. You know they watch this page very closely and are in damage control mode. Would be fun to find out who in HR and/or recruiting were hung out to dry over this.
