DM meeting next week to discuss realignment?

They have told us as Quintiles reps to "go ahead into the field tomorrow and work as normal" then we have a CC at 4 to fire us all apparently. We don't even get to stay home they day we get booted. Good times, good times.

Will someone who actually KNOWS for a fact who is getting laid off please post. Thanks. I can't wait until tomorrow.

Screw you. Don't you think hundreds of other people are just as stressed as you! Grow up and del with it. It's just a job either way. Life goes on. My advice would be NOT to go get another pharma job if you are let go. This industry is over.

Please don't post if you don't have accurate information. A lot of people (friends, co-workers etc) will be losing their job tomorrow. Please show respect this is a sad day, but tomorrow will be much worse. Good luck to us all.

Count how many times they say this on the call:

"This is never easy..."

If you get laid off, get out of pharma. You are doing yourself no good by staying in pharma. It gives you very few marketable skills.

What I have heard is that a good amount if the Quintiles reps will be let go. A large portion of this will be in the SEE division. Some contracted reps will be offered Alcon positions and the others will be laid off. This is primarily going to be geography based to limit as much rep overlap as possible. This is ALL hear-say though, I can not say any of it with any certainty. Just wanted to post what I've heard. Good luck everyone!

We did receive a CC invite through personal email, however; we are not locked out of the Alcon system. I can still log in, check emails/dashboard, and most importantly, print my most recent performance numbers......probably gonna need those.

Well said above. Very sad time. I feel for everyone at Alcon and all the other people in pharma getting let go. I do not wish that on anyone (ok..maybe the ones who made the decision to make the cuts).
