DM meeting next week to discuss realignment?

Whoever says they got laid off is lying - probably an Allergan rep. Nobody knows a damn thing, even the DMs, until early next week. There's no point in us all freaking out and ruining our weekend. Something obviously is going on - the last-minute DM meeting in Ft Worth, the fact that neither SEE or Eye Care has booked flights for a National Meeting happening in a month... but it could be a simple territory/ DM realignment vs actual layoffs. Fingers crossed?

This makes the most sense of anything posted. Something is happening, but we just need to wait and see.

No company calls people on a Friday and makes others wait until Monday.
This is going to hard enough on people, lets not try to twist the knife.

The managers will be in TX this week. I'm sure the rest of us will know the rest of the story by the end of the week.

I think it's pretty obvious that the AOR position is obsolete anymore. Should all be MSR's with the products we have currently. Also way too much overlap in SEE and more so in Eye Care. Good luck everyone. I hope they start trimming the fat with the useless DM positions. We don't need them.

SEE samples not being keyed til 17th this month. To allow for that extra 7 days to lay off sales force? I'm trying not to be negative but seems the writing may be on the wall.

Eye Care just started to get samples, but they are later than normal. Just did the online training for the travel, nothing more than reading. Lets wait and see what tomorrow brings!

If this is true, is it surprising? Primary care pharma "sales" means no access. I know so many who left SEE after Patanase was added and all those primary care doctors were added. When you went from decent access to 90% of your daily calls being sample drops/no see, you couldn't think that would actually last and make business sense, did you?

Now I know management told you to get creative to see those no see Doctors, but even they knew that was pure BS.

Pharma blows. Primary care pharma sales both sucks and blows (and yes that is possible).
