Diabetes or Primary Care - Stability

It doesn't matter what area you are currently in. If there are future layoffs, they will want to keep the best possible team.

Reps will be slotted into different areas again if this happens. More quality specialty reps moving back into PSS.

I can already see that teams in our area have no weak links any longer.

Take a look at who was moved to diabetes and who was moved to primary care. In my district top-tier PSSs were moved to Primary Care. Second-tier PSSs were moved to Diabetes. With regards to DSMs in the region the same held true.

Diabetes is the next to go. BMS has already said that the Onglyza franchise can't support support an entire sales force if dapa doesn't lauch (and it won't). If you're in diabetes get looking or kiss your ass goodbye in 6 months.

Idiots all! It's not going to matter which "team" you are on. AZ could cut 2000 reps/dm's and would still have room to cut deeper. We have a lot more layoffs ahead, so don't worry about what "team" you are on. Worry about finding another career.
