HELP!!! I am a resp. rep with the worst micromanaging boss in the world. She is no help and complains the second she is in my car to when she leaves. Plus she threatens me with a PIP if she doesn't like my calls or where I am business wise. My uncle is a practice manager with the largest group practice in my territory. He just called me to tell me effective January 1 reps will not allow to sample, have any access to docs or provide lunches in all six offices. We are not even allowed in the door!!!!! We are totally locked out. This is over 30 of my called on docs! Also I have big writers within this practice I won't be able to see. What do I do? Do I let my manager know? How can I overcome this?

If your uncle is the practice manager and you are not able to leverage that to your advantage then you should probably look for a career change.

Actually , you are right. In the future , there will be less availability for pharma jobs. The quicker you are out and find something better, you are several steps ahead of others. IE, a year from now if displaced, less jobs...year after, even less, as pharma careers wind down.
People in respiratory and diabetes, yeah it's not a good feeling be in laid off, but my gosh, if u get a nice severance, then you're probably much better off than those scraps that remain
