Not enforceable. They will threaten but court will tell them to pound sand. Regarding non competes, most states will not enforce them. Check what you signed at Amgen but don’t be intimidated. I’ve seen this movie before

I feel a non-compete is more flexible than a non-solicit though if you had to pick.

Absolutely, and maybe neither will hold up 100% of the time in court. I’ve seen it where the hiring company doesn’t want to deal with it. They aren’t going to court to save a couple reps.. they will cut their losses and the rep is the one SOL. It happens all of the time I can’t think of ever hearing of a company fighting the non solicit and winning in pharma

happened to me once, heard of it happening a couple years later at a different company I was at, although I couldn’t give you 1st hand info. No company is going to battle big pharma just because a rep didn’t disclose their non solicit

It’s been quoted several times already on here within 10k. That 10k variance accounts for what they might give you “off the record” and for different parts of the country. It’s 120. If special exceptions have to be made for you it’s 130. If you are in CA or NY they’ll try 140 but HR won’t approve it. If you are in Alabama it’s a hard 120.

So sounds like salary depends on your state of residence. If the median salary is 120k, California reps should be looking at 160-170!

No. What was stated was that it’s 120 max, not median. Exceptions are made, reps in NY and CA will be hard to get for 120, but it’s not proportionate to cost of living. If that were the case and a rep in Alabama for 120, then in California they’d get 240.
