CV Jan 31st

I’ve been around awhile and don’t remember that quick of a turn around in like the last 6 layoffs. RDs find their fate first. Then ABLs later followed closely by the reps. abls displaced still have to make the calls to the reps. Find it hard to believe anyone will know if kept or not next week. Next week will be the notification of the timeline or only a save a date for the conference call giving the details.
This just lost credibility. If your abl is displaced the regional director will call you. If your current abl is placed in a new area they will still call you and tell you your new territory and abl. If you are displaced you get a call from HR w/ either abl or RD.
The RDs already know the changes, they don’t “wait by the phone” the way reps and abls do.

Nobody said the RDs sit by the phone Like ABLs and Reps. In past I have had a displaced ABL have to call the reps. It was the last layoff. Way too much organizing of who calling who if you leave it to those left. Too many calls to make for 1 person when they need to made quickly.

I just wish they would come out with it. We need to have a timeline so we can plan accordingly. We all know it’s going to happen, we just don’t know what percent will be retained or when it will happen.

This is not true. Two years ago my displaced ABL contacted the entire team after he was told he was displaced. You would like to think that they wouldn’t make someone do that but they certainly did.

I was let go by an ABL who was let go two days earlier.
Different company, but this is a standard industry practice.
Cruel, inhumane and disgraceful, but common.
Imagine someone who genuinely wanted to stay getting shitcanned & then being told their severance was predicated on sacking half their former team.
Ruthless assholes.

People stop worrying, entresto outperformed by BILLIONS of dollars, you will be taken care of, think about it you've poured your heart into this company for years turning a failed launch into a blockbuster they will certainly take that into consideration and pay you well and take care of you! Big brother novartis is always fair.

I’ve been here for quite some time as well. Novartis will always do what is best for THEM, not for YOU. No matter what. Please don’t fool yourself.
So YOU should always do what is BEST FOR YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES.
What will happen- will happen. You won’t extend another day of your life or change the fate of the predetermined outcome by worrying or being anxious.
Nobody will know until it actually happens!

Not made up I assure you. Never said it’s the “stay home call” but announcements as I said are coming as I said. Trying to give a little relief around this subject. The wait is over.
So, you were full of shit after all.
Shocker.
Just donate the bonus check you owe me to the Duane Kalzinski FTO fund - maybe he'll double it!

It means we don't want to lose you but your job is gone,do this until we find something. If you're on a rotation or special project you're probably going to be fine, if you're interviewing against someone on a special project in a few months, you're screwed.
I don't think this is applicable to the people who read cafepharma.
A rep is a rep is a rep at Novartis.
Fungible parts.
If anyone cared about you they would have either promoted you or got you out of CV by now.
