Wow! I appreciate insightful posts but what is wrong with following WEF? The audacity of entitled, uneducated white folks is beyond comprehension.

As an educated (2 graduate degree) female employee, I can confirm nothing was served to be on a silver spoon. All of you whining about affirmative action ignoring history and how our ancestors built this country with little to no recognition and compensation.

Eli Lilly is one of the most generous companies to work for at any capacity. Politics is everywhere, you can’t 100% like even if you own your business and maybe it doesn’t hurt to think you are the problem here.

If you do not know what is wrong with the WEF, then you are not paying attention, and to claim someone is an uneducated white folk is an ad hominem attack that is unwarranted and is not factual. The point is that LV is the typical hypocrite and all about feel-good liberalism. If you are so intelligent, please advise us as to the massive increase in rare earth minerals required to produce EVs. This data is readily available from a study done by Northwestern University, among others. Yet, large companies continue to run their greedy mouths about net-zero emissions, a pipedream.

Also, nobody is whining about affirmative action, except maybe police forces, which are dumbing down applicants to meet BS quotas (see Memphis as one example).

Nobody cares about your graduate degrees. The only thing that matters is how you use your mind to think critically. If you want equity in the world, go back to your origin and fix all the broken, dictatorial, and corrupt governments. Oh, be careful of ISIS, which is growing exponentially there. They eat people like you for breakfast.

I’m actually terrified of the mass shooting by the psychos here not ISIS. Last I checked, it was 67 shootings, just six weeks into the year. Let’s see how sharp your critical thinking is, who is causing more damage? Also, not that it makes it right but ISIS does stand for a cause. Your friends just kill for the fun of it. Why not raise whole kids with moral values so we can live in peace? Smh

You mean raise kids like those in New York, Chicago or San Francisco? Have you been to those bastions of liberal ideology?

Those three hell-holes are the poster children for everything wrong with the woke culture. It sounds like you were not at the American Society for Clinical Oncology's Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium in SF last month. The once great city is beyond repair.

You should be scared in those areas. I wish you and all those like you the best of luck as you are in for a rude awakening.

Nobody cares about your graduate degrees... might be true for sales, but otherwise good luck finding a job in this industry without one (at least one with a decent career path). The market for self-taught "critical thinkers" is not so strong, doesn't really work on a resume. Might not be fair, but it's reality.

When you trumpet your critical thinking bonafides, you actually become what you hate - an elitist. And my simple rule when deciding who to trust: anybody who goes out of their way to tell you they are a "critical thinker" probably isn't one.

I find the woke crowd almost as annoying as the MAGA crowd. But if you actually lived in one of these cities (I live in Boston), you would know that woke culture has very little to do with the poverty problem. It's pure supply and demand economics. The rich drive up prices and say NIMBY to more housing, the middle class can't afford to stay, the poor can't afford to leave.

yeah big city crime gets the press and the south/west sides of chicago are a hot mess. but it is fact that of the top 10 states for murder rate only 2 are blue (illinois & maryland), of the bottom 10 states only 3 are red (iowa idaho & utah). you may see lots of homeless people in NYC & SF but your life is not in danger, grow a pair
