Culture at Eli Lilly







I’ve worked for many pharma companies over the years and Lilly’s culture is definitely the most toxic! People stay for the pension which now is hardly existent!

If you’re relatively early in your career it’s foolish to stay for a measly pension when you can go elsewhere and make much more money each year AND actually respect the organization you’re working for.
 






The audacity of entitled, uneducated white folks is beyond comprehension.

Turnover varies depending on the division but it is safe to say the diabetes business is known for the worst culture in the organization. Specifically the PC3 sleeve promoting Jardiance and Emgality. Those are some very unhappy folks.

I’m in PC3 and I hate this division. My DOS is pretty good.
Managers here are the reject managers that couldn’t get to the DBU selling Mounjaro.
Bunch of kid managers and washed up primary care DSMs that are lifers in primary care.

PC3 sure is giving the new to Pharma reps a king’s ransom I’m pay this past year. They got 2 raises plus they got yhe annual merit increase. For the annual merit increase they all got at least 8%.
So brand new reps. About 1 year of experience. Got 2 raises plus an 8% raise all within one year. Many of them weren’t even hitting their call averages for 3 quartets because they were so new.

Now how do ESRs feel since they only got the annual merit increase which maxed at 11%. What about the tenured reps that were top performers & actively involved with the company in a million projects and only got 9-10% raises lmaoooo

Surely the company knows everyone talks about their raises.

Way to piss if your performers & leaders in your sales force. Hope the new hires turn out for you. Maybe they’ll start participating how? Or maybe they’ll pan out in a few years.
But I quit. I won’t be involved in another rouge t. Why would I? We all get rewarded the same.

I’ll move in to a position with better drugs ASAP & I’ll do only what’s required of me.

PC3 sucks. They are trying to kiss new hires ass so they won’t leave for the obesity division.

Sounds like an ageism lawsuit. Hiring inexperienced, fresh out of college for more than tenured reps and then increasing pay for them disproportionately as well. They're pushing out the old and in with the new. Obviously illegal.
