CSA Openings

I was being considered for a sales position and was rejected because my hub was too far out. I told the recruiter that the CSA job was more appropriate for me since the territory was right in my back yard. The recruiter said the dead line to fill those jobs passed yesterday and that I did not have a chance (I was pissed); she went on to say they would have not considered me anyway because they want kids right out of college who eventually want to get into pharma.

Then she said, "you don't want that low paying job" and the whole time I'm thinking, YES I DO ;(

Same here. Wanted the job, but wasn't really considered.

However, I didn't hear about the deadline being yesterday; did you just speak to the recruiter today, or yesterday? I haven't heard anything from anyone = not getting the job. Did anyone else get a rejection letter or call? OR called with an offer?

Come on folks, let the rest of us know when you get your offer, please.

I had a recruiter's name for my area since she notified me to fill out a survey for a potential interview (the AZ sales contract position). Subsequently I had a phone interview to assess for a f2f. I knew my chances were slim for a f2f when I discovered the position was too far from my home.

I later wrote the recruiter and asked to be considered for the closer CSA position; I followed up with two phone calls and that's when I was informed (the 26th) that the CSA slots had been filled by the 25 i.e. the deadline date. HTH's?

I had a F2F early last week and have not heard anything. Has anyone heard either yay or nay? (got it or didn't get it?)

Good for you! Getting a F2F seems monumental in this day and age :(

How much experience do you have in Pharma and if you have allot how did this all play out in the interviewing process?

I worked in pharma less than a year, due to relocation. And it wasn't in the last few years. I think thats why I got an interview.

Yes one of my references rec'd a call but also they company called me to verify my middle name and the correct spelling. I thought the offers would be here by the 25th, so I'm very confused!

They made their decision (obviously by the 25) they will extend an offer once your background check clears. This is how companies roll now.

Can anyone PLEASE confirm that they've made their decisions, by either an offer or rejection letter / call? Considering this is a nationwide expansion, someone SOMEWHERE should know something!!!

This is ridiculous, unless they've pushed back training?

Come on management; let people know.

I know several potential candidates across the country who applied, including me. And we may:

1) Need at the VERY LEAST 2 weeks notice, to tie up current work responsibilities

OR

2) Have another potential opportunity that must SOON be accepted or turned down.

OR:

3) Have personal responsibilities that need to be adjusted / coordinated IF going to training at the end of February.

We ALL know managers read this forum. Please show some professional - and personal courtesy.

What was told to you? Where you told that you have a position based your back ground check. The job I'm in now gleaned all of my info and I knew they were checking into me, once I cleared the offer was made.

Here's the problem with background checks, they can be very sensitive regarding the information the company receives. I.E. my GPA was a 3.6 (in fact it was 3.2)..they may not hire based on false information. I'm not saying this company will be the same way, the only thing is does one actually know for sure?

It is very strange. I was never told they are doing a background check but found out when the company called me to verify more info. So I'm confused. The way I look at it is if I don't have an offer by tomorrow evening then I didn't get it. We shall see. GOOD LUCK to everyone! Please keep us updated as the offers come thru!

There was a lengthy application that some filled out including info needed for the background check. I take it you didn't fill out one of them?

Yes I did fill out the long application but I'm assuming I forgot to put my full name, they asked me to verify my middle name, as they only had the intial? Who knows, I probably did forget.

ANY OFFERS????

Hold tight, if everything passes they will call you with an offer. They will not say anything to you till all the i's are dotted and all the t's are crossed.
