CSA reps are not trained on anything clinical. Just managed care patient ed patient assistant and such. Pay is 35-40. Great way to go for pharma where drug doesn't need strong detailing.
I am not a pharma rep either, but I am a college grad with lots of customer service experience.
I'm wondering if they'll consider more mature people, ie in their 40s? Although i know they can't discriminate....
Would appreciate honest, sincere replies. Thank you.
Apply online if you are interested the interviews are starting ver soon. No product training. Managed care info and background. The trainers work hard to best prepare everyone and yes there are tests. Good luck
Yes there are tests on the information you will need to present to an office. There is role playing at training. It is very much like a pharma rep but with no clinical information. Also , you are not responsible for sales or mkt share. Much lower salary.
If you take a job as a CSA, when the contract ends, are you eligible to draw unemployment if you cannot move into another contract?
When is this contract ending?
Also, do you talk with the office staff more than the doctors, and therefore not need signatures?
You must speak with staff an the doctor when possible. You will need signatures because you will be sampling. Sampling is the most important part of this job.
So do you have to witness the doctor signing?
U would have to witness- it will b required by co. Almost every pharma company has that rule.
Yes, but as the PP said, not if they're send by mail.
