know of at least 50 people who have gotten Covid (twice, including me) since being vaccinated. By the way, it was mild for all, like having a cold. So again, where's the logic?! And anyone who got fired for not getting, should get a big payout down the road and just live off the stupid government in the meantime. The gov't seems to encourage that anyway!

You spelled out the logic yourself. People got vaccinated then had mild cases of Covid. That’s the argument. The vaccines benefit is reduction of severity; it does not eliminate possibility of getting Covid. How have you missed this?

My drug isn’t the right choice for everyone. I know that and the doctor knows that. It would be hypocritical to suggest any treatment, including a vaccine, is right for everyone. I expect my doctors to look at the data and their own personal experience to make an informed decision about what’s best for each individual patient. That’s how I treat the vaccine - I look at the data, I look at what’s it done and hasn’t done for those who took it, and I make the decision on whether or not it’s the right thing for me. You might not do that. That’s fine. You be you, and I’ll be me. Why does that make you so angry?

Actually, the purpose of vaccinations is to protect yourself. You don’t bear responsibility for the health of everyone around you. If you view it any other way, then get to work - you need to start showing up at people’s home and make sure they’re eating healthy and exercising, and also view their medical records to make sure they’re vaccinated against everything. Just to be clear. I didn’t get my kids vaccinated so that your kids won’t get sick. Keeping your kids safe is your responsibility. I’m not sure where your fantasy that we have collective responsibility for one another’s families comes from. If that’s the case, then let’s all bring our entire family’s medical records to the next POA meeting so that we can examine them and make sure that everyone is doing everything they should to keep all of us healthy. And, last, you’re going to have to get off your “denying science” schtick. You actually need to look at the science. This “vaccine” doesn’t prevent anything. That’s the actual scientific evidence. It helps with the severity of the disease and lowers chances of hospitalization, but it doesn’t prevent contraction or spreading of the disease. That’s the science.

Please stop calling it a vaccine. It’s a flu shot. Influenza mutates and that’s very difficult to control. Just like the annual flu it’s a guessing game. The population will still contract it and deal with it. Treatment is now more effective than the preventive “Covid shot”.
