This was based on ratings by employees via an anonymous, independent verbal survey in the pharmaceutical industry and reflects the upper leadership team’s commitment to ABUSE their sales people and instill fear instead of positivity by threatening them with WARNINGS and PIPS that decrease their quality of work life. Their passion is to pit their sales people against each other by forced rankings and drive reps to focus more on leaving the company then selling product. Not to mention their financial scheme of withholding bonus from their people for company financial gain, disguised as punishment for a tough year, continues to be a key contribution to their “Worst Places to Work” accolade. Their dedication to ABUSE, THREATEN, INTIMIDATE as well as ensure a negative detrimental work environment continues to be their focus for their future representatives.
 




RBM’s are minions so don’t count on protection from them. I have one correction to your statement. If you have been here from the beginning technically it’s been almost 3 years of a worst places to work, not 2.

Force ranking assumes all territories are the same and have the same opportunity. Which is why you see the same names/geographies at the top of the ranking again this year. Putting someone on a PIP for their ranking is weak bullshit. We are all busting our asses out here. Stop with the intimidation and help. Chasing off experienced reps is not a recipe for success. ITCI is earning a bad reputation and the list of open territories keeps growing.

I must agree that withholding bonus for a certain percentage of reps every year is a financial tactic that helps their bottom line. No one with 1/2 of a brain in this industry would view a punitive action such as a warning or PIP as a development-learning opportunity for a representative. We all know the truth. Right. And we’re we’re all told ITCI would be special, different, a place we could grow and develop and build. We all left those other companies. A PIP is nothing more than a message that you need to get moving. They don’t help anyone and people rarely get off them. You want me gone? Grow a pair and send me off with a severance today instead of playing games and pretending you are interested in improving my performance.
 




Well, they need to steal money out of their reps pockets to pay for those great commercials. What a smart way to do it. Every year put the bottom 20% of the sales force( based on rankings, not growth, not behaviors) on a warning for at least a month or more, make them work the hardest they ever worked (in fear of getting fired) to increase market share and then don’t pay them a penny of their bonus during their “punishment”. Criminals.

Anyone who supports this behavior should be a ashamed of themselves. Just hope Karma gets them. No one believes it’s all for a reps development. It has the opposite effect dumb asses. We all know that. Not only on the individual but also on the strong working unit they developed with their colleagues. Colleagues tend to bond together and know when a co-worker is being shit on. They can’t figure out it contributes to the toxic culture here?

I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact 20% of the reps in attendance were either on a PIP or written warning or had one early this year. Hard to get those standing ovations when a good portion of the sales force is in fear of losing their job.

And lets not forget the riveting, inspirational, energizing pre-taped VIDEO appearance of our CEO that 99.9% have never met in person and have only once been addressed to by her during a live Zoom call. ONCE. In almost 3 years! We are the ones selling her beautiful baby everyday. And we finally have the companies FIRST EVER POA and she can’t make a live appearance to address HER salespeople??? sorry but that is beyond poor leadership, it tells your entire sales division that you really don’t matter that much to me. Sorry but EVERYBODY from top down was and is thinking that.

We are a company supposedly committed to improving the lives of people suffering with mental illness. At the same time, leadership here creates anxiety, fear and depression daily with threats and intimidation. Your ranking is all that matters. I’ve never seen anything like it.

Nah, we’re good. We love how your anxiety and stress levels increase when we give you a PIP. We sleep well knowing that you get “bubble guts” when you receive your ride along email or phone call. Dumbass.
