The commission could be 100% and the base 1 million and it would not matter. The CHL acquisition was to say the least, not our proudest moment and anyone who knows anything is well aware that this testing is nothing more than a fad. A cheap gimmick for conceierge practices to sell to their hypochondriac patients. There was no future there and we should not have tarnished our fine name with this debacle. We will soon right this wrong and anyone involved will rightfully be swept away in the process. Hold the pickle, hold the lettuce, we looked at your business model and it does upset us. Yes this does help. I've been trying to understand why we would buy CHL? It wasn't doing well and relies on its soon to expire contract with low volume concierge practices to survive. Plus why are we paying their large rep salaries? How long will that last? I'm surprised Quest isn't forcing out these high salaries and replacing them with more affordable reps.

The way sales have been I don't see any changes in the near future. We don't need any more of a decline.

Oh brother. My obsession is with excellence in any form, particularly when it comes to our team at Quest Diagnostics. That said, is the BK Fish sandwich excellent? Some would argue that it's less superior than the original Whaler, but I am not in that camp. Don't discount the value of progress. The glory days of the past were not all that they are now cracked up to be, in regards to affordable dining options, or clinical laboratory medicine. Hope this helps.

Is this new division bringing in any money? The cardio rep in my area hasn't gotten any new business, and is barely hanging on to the old business.

In the business world and in particular in high end clinical laboratory testing sales, professionals are paid what they are worth. Now I have no dog in the current CHL / QD rep squabble over base pay, but I can tell a sore loser when I hear one, son, and that person is you. Hope this helps

Why was the biz lost? Poor Ops at DGX? Poor Billing Practices at DGX?
The biz and the client relationship were solid at CHL. Why , within a year, did 25% of book of biz leave?

Agree! CHL had a much better reputation/name than Quest. We have to pay the price for Quest's many issues.
