CL of the Year ?

RB is full of backstabbers!! You heard it here...from many different people. Not disgruntled people but people who are just telling it how it is! They also foster people who cheat on their spouses which is absolutely outrageous that it is done so blatantly. A coletemess and very few quality people are still here. I am looking and so are most, unless you are one of "them".
 






Mostly, a little heads up pre meetin. Meetings are where you get to watch the players, manipulators, brown nosers and such, work their magic. Beware the ever present person you see hangin at the bar, pumping someone they would never hang with elsewhere for info. Another place to notice them, is that they are constantly monitoring you, making snide comments when you pass by, which you can barely hear and seeming to always be out in the open, watching everyone. They will smell of ass kiss, if you watch them and they aren't really very clever, but sure as hell think they are. They also attach themselves to upper mgmt. and flirt once they have a few drinks in them. That's both sexes, children. Its fun to watch. Don't confuse this with the poor soul who gets stuck next to upper mgmt. That's unintentional. Nope it will be obvious they are thrilled to be in the spot light and usually are doing something, not of any real importance, but anything to stand out. Usually, it will be seriously lame, like bleached teeth or putting together some computer shit that a 2 yr old could assemble or use to present with.

Beware the presence of someone at your table or in your group who always seems to be sitting directly opposite manager, so the two of them can keep an eye on everyone at the table. Notice how often manager and ass kisses eyes lock up and follow them to the bar afterwards, when they think no one notices. Thats fun. Talk about a buzz kill. Paranoid schitzy's, both of them and for good reason. When you are operating together doing the dirty on everyone else, its important to make sure the rest of you victims aren't cookin something up on their own. Only managers and their sucks ups are allowed to plot against everyone else. In event you don't believe this, you haven't been around here long.

You're right. It will be someone with a 50% Film share like last year. Pinnacle Club was a joke. Meanwhile, those of us that busted our asses to get 80+% market shares will be forced to sit and clap with gritted teeth, because our flawed ranking system rewards mediocrity. For the interest of full disclosure, I'm not one of the "hillbillys" as you like to call them. I know the game they played, however. And while it was nice to see some of them shut out, because they were manipulating the system, it sucks for those of us that have done things the right way.
 












Didn't last years performer have over a 90% share ? But was from a hillbilly state I think .

The CL of the Year may have had a great share %, but most of the rest of the Pinnacle Club winners were CLs with shares in the 50%-60% range. I understand some states like Massachusetts are tough places to grow one's share because of restrictive laws, but we all play by the same rules when it comes to sales awards. Or at least I used to think so...

It's simple mathematics. Given the criteria and emphasis on share growth, it was a hell of a lot easier from grow from 40% to 60% than from 80% to 90%. The higher you got your share, the harder became to keep increasing it. And heaven forbid your market volume growth slowed bc you lost some docs to retirement, moving, hitting 100 patients, etc. So, if we had already done a good job of converting our market, we got to clap for the laggards. Woo! Motivation at its finest!!

I honestly think they just drew straws last year. Who knows what's in store for this year??

It always funny to see and hear reps talk about 80+%. While not thinking that your 80% is really less money than some of the territories with 35-50%. Typical. Let's see 80% of 500,000 is 400,000. 50% of 1,000,000 is 500,000. Now which one is truly better is subjective but bottom line thinking says 50% is paying the light bills at corporate. It's just funny at how reps look at this industry. Sure rankings tell bs stories and awards are for crap a lot of times. I am not a hillbilly either. I am however someone who looks at things other than the top line numbers, I have to. So don't think that the small % territories are chump change, when they probably make larger financial contributions to the company.
