Circassia

I was not quite at that level of corporate negotiations, but my guess is that AZ has nothing to do with NIOX. The Tudorza marketing strategy sounds like the company wants to simply keep the Tudorza numbers at the same level. That's why there was almost no training for the new reps. If there's an increase then that's a bonus but the LAMA market is on the decline so that's not likely. Circassia is banking on the launch of Duaklir but the AZ, BI, and GSK reps will eat Circassia's lunch due to far superior training and respiratory experience. Don't get me wrong, it's not the fault of the new reps - they don't know what they don't know. By firing all the experienced reps for the lower salaries, Circassia stupidly eliminated all the experience that can mentor new reps as well as stand a chance at successfully launching a new product.

But doing all those sample spreadsheets will rocket Tudorza to the top.

Well said. I feel like I’ve taken 20 steps back in my career working here now. My manager has weekly conference calls where we go around to each of us and tell about our week with Physcians. The manager praised a rep for asking to see a nurse and being allowed to. Praise for meeting gatekeepers and learning what days are best for Physcians??!!!!! Seriously. It’s painful. Then we spend time making sure we understand definition of a call and how to read elementary reports. Feel like I’m fresh out of college. It’s an insult to those who have experience and a waste of time.. kinda like the NSM

Agree 100%, Worst company ever! Forget about a career, and the culture is god awful and starts with douche bag DA. This guy has left a wake of sales group destruction everywhere he's been....look it up. How many careers you going screw DA?!? Glad to be gone

AZ at this time has nothing to do with Niox, although speculation is they want it. Would explain why they’re still paying us for crappy Tudorza numbers. They control Tudorza and hence Circassia can’t even try to get it on insurance plans...contract gig anyone? In order to acquire these products Circassia must meet sales targets AND metrics. Now that they are only counting face to face interactions with targets those numbers will plummet drastically IF people are honest about it. Meaning 2-4 face to face calls at best on any given day. 80% of the targets are no see or lunch only. Forecast: AZ will see the rapid drop in calls in line with Sales sliding downward and pull the plug...UNLESS they can get Niox from Circassia. I give it 6 months and it’s all over. Beatings will increase during this time.

On a different note, Circassia stock just keeeps on dropping. Check out the decline since they announced the layoffs last October. Even the market sees through David and Tom’s bs.

so what does the future look like? I see lots of openings on the website.
Future?? Hahahahaha there is none here. If you’re new, learn to lie and get somewhere else after 6 months experience. If you’re legacy, you should’ve already been looking...they’re going to be forcing you out (it’s already started). End of the quarter in about 3 weeks. Heads will roll when they get final numbers.

Forcing people out?? What’s the deal with that? My friend just got hired a month ago!

Um, yeah, right. Circassia just forced out two thirds of it's sales force back in November. During the process, managers told reps that if they didn't take the package and stayed on at the "New Circassia" they risked being fired with no severance if performance was not at 100%. I won't mention names but it went from the district manager level to almost the very top of the company. Some statements were explicit while others were implied and veiled enough to cover their rears in the event of legal action.
