There are now over 70 sales vacancies across the country. What will it cost to hire, train and retain these reps? Maybe the UK leadership needs to reevaluate the US leadership team and ask WHY the company is in this situation.

Everyone needs to be looking. The future is uncertain but if history is an indicator then we all know the answer. The company doubted everyone when they announced they were dissolving the sales force and then let people go or seemed shocked when reps turned down offers to stay.

We all have families. Always do what is best for you and your family because you can and will be replaced in the blink of an eye at any job, especially here, for $30k less.
 






the “new selling model” will involve bullying doctors and backing them into a corner regarding Tudorza. It will take about a nanosecond for docs to throw you out and prescribe one of the twenty other COPD options they have. Good luck!
 






I have read and posted on cafepharma for years, and I have never agreed with majority of the post..but for once, everyone on this board is absolutely correct about this company!!!! Get out soon!!!!!

i just can’t believe the way they treated us!!!! And who is gonna work these large territories for penny’s?!!! Management has no clue what they’re doing over theres. Trust me Circassia, mornofmyour reps will be leaving! You will be left with a skeleton crew who knows nothing!! The customers are already pissed off because they lost their TRUSTED reps. Karma is definitely gonna be bad for you all moving forward!!!!!!
 






























People know CP exists but they don't believe the accuracy of the information posted. I've gotten more information about layoffs and restructuring off this website than I ever got from management. Insiders know this is the place to get real answers.
 






The people Circassia wants aren’t in the market. They’re selling cell phone plans and furniture. I think it says a lot that cafepharma never created a board for circASSia. It’s like they knew it wouldn’t last so pffft why bother. One thread in a cso board is adequate.

I’m not an old timer you F face. I’m just saying 25 year olds getting hired— and they are—- don’t know about Cafe Pharma. Doubt they even google the company. They prob think they got a sweet gig in pharma with “50k in uncapped bonus”. Wish I could see them all bop into the pulmonary offices.

Yep. They don’t know the industry. Like someone else said: they’re out selling cell phones or some entry level B2B job... they’re not aware to go “check what’s being said on Cafe Pharma’“. Most are dying to get into the industry and this is their chance. Now the question is, how will they feel when they know someone else on their team makes a base of 100k and their base is 50k. Sure, experience is worth more but that’s a big gap.

It’s not an easy drug to sell. It’s a crowded market. It’s a tough uphill battle. Some young 25 year old kids will be happy with industry knowledge and then can maybe move on to a better pharma gig but the issue is lack of training and leadership here.
