as predicted, I was let go. No real reason given. I know it’s money related but it is still a blow to the ego when the people they kept are awful. Good luck Circassia....you will need it

I'm canned! No doubt it was money. I was also honest in the interview about what it would take to succeed. I said things that were not CC, "Corporately Correct", lol.

It's actually a relief. I will miss out on the misery of staying and getting hammered for stats daily. Good luck to the Pitney-Bowes and Xerox kids they plan to hire. Let's see if young (cheap) and "hungry" (gullible) will save them.

No regrets for staying? Since when did Tom S. come on Cafepharma? The company has not been transparent at all with employees and seems to be blaming all the reps for the poor performance of Tudorza. The entire rehiring process was arduous and pointless when it is now evident the cuts were all about salary. I feel bad for anyone who has to stay on as the new culture at Circassia is “the beatings will continue until morale and sales improve.” Good luck to all who survived and those who were lucky enough to be let go.

Hopefully get some honest answers here and realize there are many unhappy people but maybe you can help people looking at the numerous open job listings for this company. What is the comp plan for a Sales Representative and for Regional Sales Manager.. Was told about 110k at plan for rep and around 170k at plan for a manager. But feel like that may not be realistic based on some postings here. Seems like they may have recently reduced pay based on postings here. Don't want to waste my time if compensation is not at par with rest of industry. Hope to get some honest answers, thank you.
 






Rep based is $65k with bonus “potential” at $50k. Before the layoffs on Monday, about 10% of the sales force was making goal. If you decide to interview, be sure to ask why the launch of Duaklir is scheduled for late Q3 or Q4 of 2019 when approval is in March. Also be crystal clear on the expectations for Tudorza because the company has repeatedly forecasted incorrectly. This place has not kept promises to the sales force!

Thank you for response, so basically a specialty pharma job that will maybe pay total 80K max is what it sounds like. Sounds good for a newbie but a dumb move for anyone with experience. I can't imagine reps that have been there for years that have their pay adjusted downward won't have their resume's on the street immediately. Company is probably hoping that will happen so they can replace with cheaper reps.

Not so much a Specialty job....

What do you call a company that hires reps at 65k to sell one product that the hiring company doesn’t even own to mostly primary care but also a handful of specialists (plums)? A contract sales organization. That’s what Circassia has devolved into. AZ bangs the drum, Circassia steps to the beat or loses everything.
 












Unless you are desperate for a job, stay away from this company. Upper management has no idea how to run a company, wasting money on most ridiculous things such as Kahoot challenge (when they present it to the field sales, they claimed that "the company who plays games often tends to out perform") and keep on adding useless layers in management side of the house. plans and direction changes every few months.
For those of you who were let go last week, consider it as a blessing as there are many more opportunities out there than just driving around begging for signatures from doctors for Turd-ozza samples.
 












Wait til they try to launch Duaklir next year. It will go down in Pharma history as the definition of "epic failure"!

Assuming they even make it to that point. Tommy Boy can’t stick with a strategy for more than 6 weeks anyway so all this will be for nothing. AZ won’t let them have it since they’ve done so poorly with Tudorza.
 






It's laughable that the company claims the criteria for lay offs was whether a rep would fit the new Circassia selling model. Two thirds of the sales force were let go not counting the reps who declined the offers. So Circus-sia is saying the majority of the sales force is not good enough - even their President's Club winners? Reps have been telling upper management about the serious problems since day one of Tudorza to no avail and now management wants to blame reps for management's mistakes - Ugh.

I hope Circassia can succeed because the NIOX is a great diagnostic tool that I enjoyed selling and also a lot of people need their jobs. I just don't think it will happen when management doesn't listen to those on the street and thinks the solution is to sample more aggressively.
