I have a phone interview next week with CIBA Vison for an open territory position can anybody give me some insight on the interview questions they are going to ask. I think the interview is with the RIGHT THING, INC. Is it the whole STAR method of behavioral questions? Any specific questions that anybody can remember would be appreciated. Thanks! I'm Nervous!
I have 8 years pharma experience---REJECTED. After reading this thread of messages, I suspected that was one of the reasons I didn't hired either. Additionally, My base is already $70k. Perhaps that was another reason I didn't get an offer. Oh well, trying not to take it personally. It just wasn't meant to be.

your base salary is not high vs what what i personally received--that is one reason you can completely rule out.
perhaps something to think about.... all of you with your many years of experience and some even with opth exp..... did you CLOSE on each and every intv and role play?
Yep - I received an offer and have over 10 years of pharma experience.
So you are saying they offered you over $70,000 base.....I find that a little hard to believe.

I dont think is true. I was told that if you had over 5 years of Pharma experience youd be eliminated. I was told this during my last interview (the 3rd). Unless you are already a Novartis rep I think you are not being honest.
So now that everyone has had a day of training. I'm curious to see if the wait was worth it?
What "wait"? I got my offer 4 days after my interview.
YES the WI position has been offered and accepted. IV's were out in LA end of March.
funny there's still an opening posted....and there was more than 1 opening in WI! and i was told it wasn't filled yet.
If that is true (which I highly doubt it is) why would they spend the $ to send out to LA highly experienced candidates with over 5 years of pharma as you put it!?
