Why do we care you were with Scios? I hope the product is approved soon. However, I think everyone we hired from Scois are I D I O T S!

I always laugh at your peabrain comments. All you ever do is put down Scios reps. Clearly the problem is with YOU and no one else. Just love your comment "we hired." Do us all a favor and just worry about yourself. If you were mature enough, maybe you would understand that. Clearly you are not. If the drug gets approved and you truly are with the company, I guarantee you will be the first to fall flat on your keester. It is very clear you were a REJECT that Scios did not want.
 






























To bad, I was really looking forward to joining this company, but I'm moving on there are other opportunities out there. Cadence doesn't seem very committed to the team they assembled.
 
























Approval will be months away and now analysts are quoted as saying "later this year." Many reps with contigent offers will now just move on and I will have to look at other opportunities myself. Now maybe they will have to relook at their benefits because they need to seriously address their lackluster car plan and either change that to a company car or give a much better mileage amount and monthly car allowance. The frightening part of this opportunity was that they were penny pinchers when it came to the benefits and although they are a new company they need to step up to the plate.
 
























Information from the conference call estimates the delay will be 2 to 6 months! I definitely am looking at other jobs now.

I completely agree! I listened to the conference call and although I do think it will be approved sometime this year... who can wait? I am gainfully employed but will now start actively looking at other opportunities! Such a bummer since I was really hoping for an approval! Oh well!

I agree that considering the weak vehicle plan, lack of stock options, and average benefit package they are going to lose some good people to other opportunities. Although the pharma market has declined, the best reps will get the good opportunities, so Cadence had better step it up if they intend on being the "best hospital sales" pharma company around. If not, they'll end up with the reps no one else wants!

Very well said! It would not surprise me that they relook at some of those things because they want the best of the best and that won't happen with the current benefits. I wish everyone luck with other opportunities because this isn't going to happen anytime soon.

What are you talking about? Everyone knows they didn't get approval yesterday. What is more of a shock is we all know the delay will be months. It is a guarantee they now have lost several reps they kept on the "contigent" short leash. Most were so unhappy with the benefits anyway and saw it as a red flag. Everything happens for a reason and this just wasn't the golden opportunity everyone originally thought.
