Bonus

Now, now my little Thanksgiving turkeys! I don’t work at Teva but I have a really good friend that does. I had l last 40 years of wide pharma experience with a very major company. Allow me to enlighten all of you you regarding sales data. First, the budget. At the beginning of each year a budget is presented to the big wigs. One thing in the budget concerns compensation in all its forms. So, an amount is budgeted for bonus payout, contests, etc. For the bean counter involved in that budget, they had better be pretty damn accurate because a finite amount is set aside to pay bonus. Very important word, finite.

On to sales data. Teva knows to the minute how much product is sold and goes out the warehouse door, and that IS ALL THAT MATTERS! Rx data is purchased from IMS and WK by most companies. They have different packages of data, if you will, to sell, one being all encompassing and others not so much.

Back to the budget. So let’s say $100 was budgeted for bonuses throughout the whole year, and during the year people were blowing their sales out of the water. So the company says, “Hmmm? We didn’t budget enough for sales at this level.” Now what? Will they dump more money into the comp line item or not? Did they purchase the Rolls Royce Sales Data Package from IMS and/or WK? Does one package capture data that is more accurate that the others? Does it even matter? So in our example of $100 being budgeted for bonuses, and the sales team has created a bonus payout of $130, that 30% over projection, which is huge! Well says the bean counters, we can’t have that so let’s manipulate the sales data to match very closely with that of paying out the $100 in bonuses. So the sales data is “adjusted” along the way. All the company cares about is what sales they show internally to wholesalers, buying groups, the government, and anything else going out the warehouse doors. Nothing else really matters. So, you begin to say to yourself. “This sales data is bullshit! , which it is! So you bonus payout is basically fabricated to a point.

I hope this little exercise has been somewhat of an enlightenment to you. Teva is not the only one that does this, they all do. Even buy and bill drug sales are manipulated while you are actually holding your invoices in your hands to PROVE their numbers are wrong! I have seen it done!

This will never change as long as sales data is being sold to pharma companies and budgets are being made. If you stress over this inequity, it will run you crazy! I know, I know, you just want to get accurate credit for what you produce, but life ain’t fair my friends. Accept it or move on. It’s really that simple.

What a load of bull. Lol! Too funny. I don't even know where to begin with how full of it your tinfoil hat conspiracy is. Thank you for the laugh. Lol!

Ya, that dude is making stuff up. Pharma companies know what they sold because the pharmacies and wholesalers purchased it. What pharma companies don't know and have to buy is where are providers rx'ing it. That what pharma companies buy from pharmacies or data collection groups. So that guys long post was all a big ego trip of nothing. He is just trying to work people up.

"Here is a post on the Neurocrine board from the same ass hat that spent way too much time on our board. Look at the similarities of "self defense" just trying to stir the pot. They too have experience the same reporting inefficiencies as Teva.

Neurocrine isn't "losing" anything. It was a deliberate business decision. The math is way above your head (and mine for that matter) but bottom line, Neurocrine makes more money per rx than Teva. A lot more actually. Our baselines here are fair and straightforward. Increase your baseline by a few rx's and you'll be just fine and make plenty of money. Teva reps would kill for the sanity at this company vs the insanity at Teva".

Bull. Look it up. Neurocrine has very thin margins.they pay teva and several other companies not to make ingrezza. Teva literally makes money off of every Ingrezza script. Also, ingezza cost more to make than austedo. This is why people at neurocrine are paranoid about layoffs. Your operating costs in q3 are insane. Way over priced salesforce that will be downsized. Neurocrine can't keep this up. Unless they are trying to sell. But who would buy them?

Teva is a sick and pathetic company , full of lies and deceit , pay your suppliers and employees you Teva filth

teva is a waste Ponzi scheme

I agree with what everyone is saying, crap numbers, no communication, etc. That being said if you look at our published sales plan we are not scheduled to be paid our Q3 bonus till December anyways.

Not sure where you may have seen that. We have always received the Q3 attainment bonus on the pay period before Thanksgiving. So if it is set to hit on one of the final 3 pay periods in December, don't you think we would have been told in some sort of communication? Personally, I still believe there is more to this, i.e. Never received our Q-4 goals, issues around reporting data since early July and no monthly I.C. attainment or rankings since June.

I agree we have always been paid bonus about thanksgiving. Regardless of what the company has done in the past, If you look up the 2023 IC Annual plan document in employee central you’ll see that the estimated Q3 payout has always been estimated to be Dec. I think they have been hoping to get data so they are not having to estimate and miss the mark either direction.

I don’t think there is really much going on in NP and not likely NH. I’m still convinced there will be restructuring in NS. Now that ABD have responsibility for all three brands like there might be some streamlining coming.

All this IC stuff is related to not being able to correctly identify what providers wrote. Specifically with XR and Uzety as they have no capacity to estimate production based off history. I have several good BID writing providers I know are writing XR now yet are showing they are way off on total scripts.

The lack of communication from the top is AF and JM are afraid to communicate anything that might bring scrutiny from their 3 new bosses. Just trying to fly under the radar until all leadership changes have been completed.

All great points and I guess we will be hearing more after we all get back from the long weekend Thanksgiving break. Buckle up, its going to be a crazy few weeks before we all break again for the Christmas holidays. I'm sure there will be a lot of changes coming before we kick off the 2024 year!

Ya, most people never look at the pay schedule. They just want to cry and blame others for poor performance. The pay calender does show bonus on Dec 1st.

I don't think it will be crazy. There will be changes. Mostly ABDs. I'm sure some reps will be moved around, but not many. I also think you had too much turkey. You are getting a little paranoid. Teva does not want to mess with Austedo anymore then necessary.

What pay calendar? There is no pay calendar. You just made that up! Pay on Commissions is always before Thanksgiving, yet they did not communicate anything at all.
Shady stuff.

No one said they communicated it. No one is defending poor communication. But on myteva is the pay schedule for 2023. Did you even try to find answers to your problems? It seems like you enjoy playing the victim and blame everyone for your frustrations.

This goes to show you can't fix stupid. Did you even try searching for it on the company intranet? It takes two seconds to find. It shows the pay schedule for 2023. Do you even work at teva?
