It's MedXpert from germany, and it directly
competes with Pectus System Nuss Technique (Bars) and Sternal Closure
Why does Biomet allow this?
I can;t believe that Biomet Microfix would allow a Distributor to carry competitive products, and rub it in their face--and to set-up distribution that directly competes US wide? Strange
Seems to me the distributor is taking business directly from Biomet, and rubbing it in thier face?

I see they are even hiring a Product Manager? Why can't BMET could just support them?
 












What the heck is going on in Northern CA? Tragus Surgical is top-notch and Biomet took that territory away? What's the plan, new distributor or direct model? Rumor has it they're going with the Smith and Nephew distributor. We'll see how that goes over with the SF Biomet Ortho folks!!!

MedXpert competes with Nuss Bars Worldwide (except for USA Patent Protected) and will eventually bring their identical Nuss "knock-off" System to compete with BMF Pectus Bar System to The US. The Owner of MedXpert Europe Erhart Reisburg was previously Managing Director for BMF(Lorenz) Europe, and he built his Euorpean business from and around Lorenz customers Pectus customers who were previously Lorenz Pectus customers(no Patent protection OUS). Once The US Patent expires, Reisburg will likely launch The MedXpert Pectus System in USA to compete directly with Lorenz/BMF Nuss Pectus System (likely on Bar Price, which is great for the hospitals, but will really hurt the BMF Reps/Distributors who are commission based, I believe), except for the one's who are already selling BMF Pectus Line AND MedXpert Line. They win either way :) I am shocked though that BMF allows the Oklahoma Sales Rep to have any part of this business model/deal. Quite strange? What is the concensus on the street?

Watch him sell Osteomed for Cavanaugh, and join forces with another old Lorenz" tool"
