Biomet Microfixation

The culture is for pmo to get on people if the schedule slips. The pmo is not taking responsibility for this themselves even though they are responsible for driving projects. Maybe steroids rot brains.

Biomet has not been renewing some distributor contracts for many tenured people. I have heard from several of them that Biomet is forcing them to invest & focus on neuro and sternal or get out. Apparently, they want nothing to do with OralMax. Thats just what I am hearing. As far as selling, I am sure they would break it off for the right price. I heard a 19yr Synthes vet just took over the Biomet dist in Dayton/Cincy. Apparently, he had been there so long he never signed a non-compete; quit Synthes on a Friday, took over dist on Monday! I'll be interested to hear everyone's feedback to see if these rumors are true or not.

How's this division of Biomet doing? I heard they are going to break it off from corporate like they did with 3i.

Who is the intellectual giant behind this post? Seriously, this is such a stupid post! Since when is it referred to as breaking off a division from corporate? Also, 3i is still very much part of Biomet.

Tell me, how does a Quality Engineer at Jax go from being a Quality Engineer with very little knowledge, to becoming a Director of Supplier Quality for the 3 facilities (Jax, Spine Colorado and Bone Healing NJ), with absolutely no managing (supervisory)experience and no Supplier Quality experience?
