Biomet Microfixation

BMF had an asian guy as a director of clinical research in 2009. During my few interactions with him, I realized he was fed up with the inexperienced and irresponsible management.... he also seemed a lot concerned about less-than-optimal quality. Seemed like a genuine professional guy.... kind of a misfit in the group. Is he still there or let go or got fired?

You must not read the Warsaw paper. Look at the newspapers city meeting mins, and the layoff details to not include the 60-70 temps they let go. It is going baby. The viper will rise again.

Too much. Commission is roughly 20% (with a contractual discount here or there) of territory sales. High end territories conjure up $2-5 million annually. I wouldn't blame the company for going direct - all these guys do is babysit trays and grease docs.

What's really going on at corporate? Where's Roman?

Soon to be spun off like 3i.

Spun off?? Your effing stupid! Their Neuro/CMF is successful. They are 3rd in the market behind Synthes/DePuy and Stryker. The rep in my territory KILLS it with Lactosorb alone. Docs love their power screw driver. Like any territory, they are good in some areas, poor in others. No effing way they are selling that portfolio.
