Biohaven Reps

Contract will probably get kicked off of Nurtec
and give us bigger territories or maybe we get knocked off due to access issues
Sorry, just like every past acusition of Pfizers you'll be let go and the remaining Pfizer reps will have another product in their bags. At one time there were Pfizer reps running around with 10 products in their bags and called on every medical specialty. They covered huge geographies. They are going back to that model of very few reps in the field.

Pfizer also plans to open more call centers. Pfizer connect will become an even bigger deal.

that made me laugh. Your new products suck. I work at another company and neurologists could care less. Good luck out there. Nurtec isn’t great and this one .. worse. It’s just a matter of time for layoffs.

Nurtec isn't great? lol Then I guess that means the Biohaven reps must have been spectacular..they outsold Abbvie and Ubrelvy with just a few hundred reps.

You don’t really think the timing of this has anything to do with the one year date for Biohaven do you?!! As if Pfizer decided to wait to announce $3.5 billion in cuts until the one year expired? I can guarantee you that thought wasn’t even a blimp on the radar in their decision making process. This is a MUCH bigger issue than anything having to do with Biohaven. We may or may not be impacted, that will remain to be seen. But this doesn’t have anything to do with the migraine franchise. The impact was due to very poor decisions regarding the COVID franchise that’s going to likely impact every single aspect and division of Pfizer globally, possibly even migraine. That’s what you should be upset about.

You are a doorknob. That post was in response to someone's post around the time bhvn was bought by Pfizer that said the Biohaven reps would be gone in 6 months. At no point does it mention ANYTHING about the 3.5 billion decision..what are you talking about?

You see this type of smartass comment right here is why getting a factual answer on here is so rare. I did not question anyone’s financial fortitude micro penis. Glad you’re independently wealthy. I was simply letting you know Pfizer’s policy as someone intimately familiar with HR here. It was stated we had a great severance package to which I responded.

I have news for you, no migraine rep (aka primary care) is making that much money. You’re not as well off as you think little boy. The adults work in a different division and have base pay double your total comp in some circumstances.

He is not talking about making migraine rep salary money..the biohaven reps including myself cashed in a ton of stock when Pfizer purchased us. We were given tons of stock options and many cashed in mid 6 figures. It was the whole reason most of us joined a startup.

why Vlad why?!?! God I miss Biohaven before these robotic Pfizer connect reps/new hires poisoned the migraine franchise.

People wonder why legacy Biohaven has been leaving in droves… the culture sucks, the CV reps act like it’s us vs. them in promoting Nurtec & on top of it all, these metric driven measurables, shitty data from Smart, confusing goals, cheap bonuses, lack of resources and basically everything else here has drained us all of the passion that made us as an organization special. The last thing that inspires me to work, is the bottom line of this evil organization.

If you want to cut me? Fine. Maybe it will reignite my passion for the profession when I land elsewhere.

I see the divide. I’m on CV side and our manager specifically tells us not to work with them. But that’s because he looks down in their manager. Classic pfizer old school manager thinks they’re above everyone

CLASSIC! Yet Pfizer is one of the few pharmaceutical companies I've heard of that a person can jump from being a rep to a manager in literally a snap of a finger. No training, no prep, just *bada BING*.

Did you learn English at the same place as Albert?

Your manager is very wise. You should stay far away from the Biohaven manager Tyson G!

That's because of the nepotism and in breeding. They don't open the management opportunity to the outside world and get the best candidate. It has to be inbred Pfizer.

It's always been this way here. It didn't matter much when all we had was mega blockbusters. I mean, let's face it---what value did a manager bring back when we sold Lipitor, Viagra or Celebrex?Yet, those two big clusters alone brought about 6-7 DMs per territory. And there were about 700 territories in each division. We quote-had-end quote to promote from within.

Seems like there are a ton of Nurtec reps…I look at some of the prescribers in my territory and there are 3 to 4(?!) MGT reps calling on them…not to mention the CV rep detailing Nurtec too. What’s going on there? Why so many reps for this product? Are territories mirrored?

The vast majority of CV calls in different HCPs than the migraine team. Our competitor has even more reps in the field that we do and it’s a battle back and forth on share. That’s why there are so many Nurtec reps.

You don't really believe the "minimal impact" BS they were selling this morning, do you? If so, you must be new here. ELT will lie to your face then gut the sales force. Dec 22 is the most inconsiderate date yet for layoffs.
