Novartis Compensation and Benefit Summary: The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between: Sales Specialist: $124,000 and $186,000/year | Senior Sales Specialist: $136,800 and $205,200/year | Executive Sales Specialist: $151,200 and $226,800/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Where did you get this pay range? I work for Novartis now (until Wednesday, anyway) and my pay is well below this range.
 












Those pay ranges listed are misleading they are not straight salary. It is total compensation, so they are “figuring in” bonus, health benefits, 401K match, stock options, car etc. that is why those ranges are way higher than our actual salaries.
 




If you are this upset I don’t think you have the mental stability to work in an industry that is constantly downsizing where you may need to shift to another role or another company.

I'm sure this isn't limited to the clowns here. All cos probably do the same.

That 100% does not include everything - just salary & bonus. That being said, those are pay ranges for "commencement of employment". Also, those are not the true limits - just expectations.
There are definitely people making more that $226k per year for base+target IC. I know that people on here will say its false because they don't want to believe how much more others are getting paid than them, but there are a fair amount of executive sales specialists in the mid-high 190s for base on the Cosentyx side.
