Who do you blame for our lack of insurance coverage?

It's not really lack of coverage per se...it's more lack of direction, vision and responsibility over the last couple of years. It's the lack of efficiency. It's the disregard for wise business practices. It's the immaturity and lack of experience of those managers involved. But I do hope it's turned around and things pick back up. I want to see them do well. I left the company on my own terms and actually did like my coworkers when I was there.

At the end of the day it IS insurance coverage! MCO's pay the bills and if MCO's aren't paying then we ain't making money. It only takes a few calls from patients to doctors about why are they receiving an out of network bill for 125 or higher to piss off the doctor. How many more clients will leave when we tell them AIT cannot accept self pays anymore?

Like other health care sectors who experienced cutbacks in reimbursement, AIT will need to figure out how to decrease the cost of testing so that their expenses don't exceed their revenue. How many times did Doc used to preach about how AIT was on the "side of the equation that saved health care dollars"? Good luck proving that anymore. How much of the testing that AIT does is really medically necessary? And do the test results really impact how the physician practices?

Why would AIT not accept PRIVATE PAY anymore? Most health care service providers would love to have a larger percentage of private payers in their payer mix.

Is there really a need to test for soma or tramadol if patient is not being prescribed those meds?

No, there is not a need for it and third party payers do not think there is a need for it either. Unnecessary medical testing has been scrutinized by payers for the past ten years or more. It is a waste of money and does nothing but contribute to the overall costs of health care.

Same goes with things such as barbiturates or illicits such as synthetics, cannabinoids or bath salts...makes no sense and is a waste of healthcare dollara to test on everyone.

Course they were. Big Bad RC "brokered" that deal. Gonna be umm you know umm big! Definately not going to try to take over when LB is on maternity leave again.

Hey, how dare you question the BDT at AIT. I mean, they are known for....blood, yeah blood, since the rest of the company can't sell it. And, homone testing, no wait, RC doesn;t know if he is for or against it so.... ummmm per saee, not wait, he has the best reps so it must be biomarkers, yeah, thats it. NO wait , now that he is an executive member, I am sure he will find a way to kiss Doc's ass, no I mean ummmmm, justify his secretary monica and special reps at the same time he spends money no one else can spend. Oh by the way, is he depressed his only friend Josh is gone yet. What a joke????????????????????? yeah, AIT. great place to work until it is out of bidnaz in a few months and Doc can't donate all his monopoly money to charity. Hate to be on that "board"...good thing their reputation doesnt mean shit.

RC is not an exec team member. Josh is still with AIt.

Anybody that believes this company will be around is crazy!!! As soon as I find another job, I'm out. All Doc cares about is his ego and if anybody says he cares about employees are on dope.

Just ask any employee how they lied about the ESOP and saying employees own the company. What a joke.

They are also lying about the firings. Used to be a top-notch company. It costs me more money to work here, than I make. Reduced the commissions, reduced reimbursements, reduced mileage....I'd rather sell cars or cell phones than work at this place. It's sad when a used car salesman has more integrity than the managers at this company.

How are they lying about firings? I do agree - ESOP is a joke.
