AIT Laboratories

Stay away for AIT. This company is being invaded by a bunch of venture capitalists. They are going to harvest this company. MZ is leading the charge and he does not feel any remorse. Company used to be the one of the best in Indiana but now it is broken and fading fast.

The last group folks were laid off. 1 guy was in the field for 2 months - Not much to get fired on. With that being said, AIT is done in the next 3-4 months. You can't compete with 5 day turnarounds. The army of people in and around Indy will stay. Anyone else, especially those with a travel budget associated with their position, or in a newly staffed territory will be gone soon. Start looking ASAP. The most recent group was given 2 weeks of severance and AIT will attempt to tell you that they will enforce the non-compete. Not a chance in hell. Get out now before you get blindsided.

Done in 3-4 months? We've been around since the early 90s. Sure sales staff seems to fold quickly...AIT isn't closing doors...geeze.

3rd shift from the lab has just been laid off. Travel / mileage budgets cut. AIT will continue to do business in IN, OH, KY, TN... Good luck to the rest of us. Inside sales will replace us.

3rd shift people were moved to 1st and 2nd shift. No one was cut. Please tell the truth.

It all depends on what RSM conference call you were on. 3 of them explained it 3 different ways. Leadership at its finest. 3rd shift was laid off, rolled in to 1 and 2, turnarounds for urine are now closer to 5 days, but we can keep telling everyone 2 days.. However you want to spin it. How is that for truth?

Interesting. But, it isn't a layoff if people are moved to other shifts. No one was fired with exception of 3 people in non-production lab positions. I'll agree with the other parts though.

Really, are you serious? You can call a turd a Snickers but it will still taste like shit when you take a bite. Third shift is gone and so is the service they provided. You are and have been in a death spiral for a couple of years and now you need to be purchased to stay alive. No one wants AIT for anything other than the lab and what is left of the Sales staff would be let go as soon as the sale was final. 5 day TAT? A provider can add a TTA, get $99 for the screen and send out confirms to a reference lab and have almost 48 hrs left in change based on your current performance. To steal a phrase from our amazing Commander and Chief, Russia (AIT) is a regional power. I should know, I used to work there and now I am picking off your accounts, one by one. Sweet

AIT will be gone by end of 2015. Some form of an AIT group may be left in Indiana, but the company is losing major customers across the nation on a daily basis. I work inside and I am in contact with those in the lab and field almost on a daily. EVERYONE here knows the ride is almost over and we are all looking for a better offer. I feel really bad for some of the loyal employees here who do a great job. SL gets a lot of blame but he is nothing but a pawn for the new CEO who claimed from day 1 that he wasn't here to sell us. Unfortunately it has become rather obvious that his sole purpose in being here is to fatten the numbers and make the company appear viable long enough to sell the few remaining accounts along with the lab assets.

There is no clear direction, hire, lay off, hire lay off, reorganize, reorganize, reorganize. It seems like company decisions are made based on the management book MN is reading this week. We've lost some very valuable employees who are now working for competitors and in the reason we are losing customers daily. No way we can even fight, I've heard the calls and customers are leaving because of bad customer service and being fed with changes and empty promises. One day they have a sales rep who they love, the next day that rep works for competitor ABC. Do the math, how long can this last.

VP of S&T -- hahaha I guess one of Matties cronies from IU Health needed a job after the big fall out. What a horrible job he has done--how do you lose THAT account. We are sinking--help!!

AND more lay offs on Wednesday! Wow--what are they trying to prove? I hope the few good employees like BC are seriously looking to escape this train wreck of a company. I know for a fact that SL is actively looking--and I don't blame him.

SL should have been fired last year, the joke is on AIT for hiring that piece of crap, he has done nothing but derail what was left of the company. He has no concept of management and it follows all the other jobs he has moved away from been fired from, asked to resign and all the other usual exit strategies that companies use to get rid of losers like him. The sad part is that he has forced a lot of good people out and now we are stuck with no hope for the future. I think I would rather draw unemployment than stay with this laughing stock any longer, maybe I will get fired this week, I can hope can't I.
