They won't be hiring anyone. Products are not selling well, even that "new" things coming from Puerto Rico won't help. It will be another fail, like Expedition, Armada and BVS. Not much interest on the market. What happened with bvs? In the middle of last year they told us there's huge demand of it and it will be only going up to the roof...and what? One shift is making it and not all the time. All cateters will be transfered to Costa Rica very soon.

Hi! I'm from ADC and I just wanted to post here to say hello, and let you know how all of us look forward to joining Vascular!
We know how you must feel, kind of intimidated I suppose, knowing we are coming in, and us being the "best of the best of the best" and all. But don't be scared! We put on out pants and skirts just like you all do.
I know what you're thinking, and I'll be honest: yes, some of you may need to step aside so we can come on board. Maybe a lot of you.... but that's not the point. Look at it this way: your sacrifice is for the good of Abbott and the share holders! I think you are all so brave!

Are we not getting new product "closure products" in August , why are ye coming over !! More info pls. Is it cause yer getting ole armada etc . I heard we will be making completely diff products ? I'm confused ... I like redundancy but sick of hearing one minute redundancy then the next new products !!!!

I can see now that this is going to be harder than we thought, and why Vascular is so eager to get the ADC sales team. Perhaps you should ask your manager? At ADC, we're being told that about 50 of us, the "best of the best of the best" of all Abbott sales reps, are coming over to revitalize and rejuvenate Vascular. Don't worry, we'll all be great friends!

Oh, we're coming over. At least 50 of us, with our VP, Duncan. I'm sorry you have not been told. You see, ADC is considered by Abbot to be its elite sales force. The best of the best. So as ADC winds down, Abbott wants to take our expertise and skills, and use that to transform Vascular into a successful division, like ADC was. I hope you chose to look from the bright side: if you get selected to stay, you'll get to work along side us and learn!
Hey I'm another ADC rep! Can't wait to join Vascular and sell that new product! Maybe one of you can explain it to us here so we'll understand it better. I don't understand the heart or anything; I majored in Communications so I never had to take biology or science or anything like that.

And I know Xpedition is a low quality crap, and BVS to expensive to attract buyer maybe private clinics so rich fat fuckers could afford it, wish you all the best with your sale, but remember one thing if Vascular Sale couldn't make it your odds are 50/50 but that's not enough. I'm working for Abbott last 6 years not in sales but I'm professional salesman, without market demand you won't sale a shit. The lack of operational experience in this division is sickening.
What is with all the people telling people to leave if they are not satisfied? Complacency is the death of a corporation. Get over yourselves. We are not leaving and we will continue to show our discontent until changes are made. I am sorry if all this threatens you.

We're all coming over form ADC to Vasular USA, to rescue their Sales force. I don't know anything at all about Vascular I was confused about Clonmel. It's just that we're so excited to be helping Vascular and bringing our expertise I got carried away!
Hey I didn't know that either! But, you know, Ireland could be fun. Maybe some of us ADC reps should go over to Ireland and help fix up their sales force? Just think of that, having an international assignment for a year or two.
I'd bet a half dozen of us could fix them up in 6 months, get them all working hard and all that, and we could spend the rest of the time touring the countryside, and visiting all the famous Irish pubs and castles.
That's a great idea! I'm sure they would welcome our help! It would be kind of like the Peace Corp, except not as bad as Africa. I think in Ireland you can drink the brush your teeth with the water, and maybe even drink it too.
