Are you getting paid for writing this crap? I worked in few companies, ever bigger than Abbott and never seen that level of lies, pressure etc. Ofc everywhere was a target but easily achieved when following your work procedures. But here? Constant pressure on numbers no matter what. Procedures?Quality? Lol they dont care about it untill audit comes.If every op would start working like they should i bet we would hit no more than 70% of current targets. So please cut this sh*tty talk off looser, you're just "abbottized".

All that the Shingo prize means, is that they will continue too push and shove us little people. Management are just blind to the environment they have created. The morale of their works is the last thing they care about.
 


















They have created a culture of fear in Clonmel. That everyone below management level are afraid to speak the truth. It's one constant lie, that's feed back to management because of the fear of punishment.
 






The shingo prize is very suspect it only uses mr.shingos name it's based in Utah of all places and since 2006 twenty shingo prize winners were factories in Mexico and the U.S winners were right on the mexican border so is the shingo prize a front for meth labs and meth distribution across the southern U.S is there a mr.heisenberg behind it all and was breaking bad based on the shingo model and principles???!
 






I use to work in Abbott Clonmel as a supervisor. I'm so glad that I got out when I had the opportunity. It is an environment that is unhealthy for any person. The amount of stress you are put under is unreal. As for the managers in that place, they are just bullies. For as long as I was there, I don't think one supervisor had the balls to speak the truth to any of these managers, as to the true environment that really exists in that place. A evironment of pressure and stress, which people are so tired of. Constantly pushing people to unreasonable levels, just so they can show who's the boss. I hope some day people will be valued and treated the way they should really be. Management really need to sit up and take notice of the environment they re creating in Abbott Clonmel, are they so blind to what is going on around them.

Since that book was sent to everyone in Abbott, wonder how much it costs to have that put together with the nice color pictures and all the other detail. Then have it mailed out to everyone around the world. Next time they ask me to save a dollar, I'll throw the book on their desk. Why don't we start here with corporate first...

Too many on there already. It's all about supply and demand, just like Abbott products. No one wants it. Highest listed price $17.95, bid on one for $7.95 and one sold earlier for $12.95.

Too late. Better hold onto it and pray it becomes a collector's item. Someday historians may use it to illustrate the rise and fall of the American economy.

I got $30 bucks for my gift from another drug co. a few years ago. At least Waterford has some resale value.

HR Clonmel tracked down and gave the book to anyone who hadn't collected it, whether you wanted it or not. Wouldn't be surprised if you sold it on eBay and next thing miles knocks on your door to hand back to you.
I'm guessing Abbott paid around $20 a piece to get them made?
Over 90,000 employees at around $20 a piece, nearly 2 million :-o
 






They love to waste money. One day we hear about cost reductions, another day they install this sh**ty wall of fame, annoying barriers which break at least once a week etc. If they want to ave some $$ maybe they should start from themselves....I hate this place sooooo much
 






They love to wasting money, as for that wall of fame, should be renamed " The Wall of Pain " as people are never given a choice, they are force. Don't get me started about Shingo.

Are You joking? Layoffs? We just got Shingo prize! Do you even know what it means? Future for this site looks bright, we got new, amazing products...customers are killing each other to get our outtaspace technology BVS and Armada. Production runs @ 300% and its still not enough to fill hungry market. We are the best of the best, no 1!!! Operators here are happy, you can see smile on their faces, noone is even thinking about leaving this paradise...some of them have Abbott altars at homes. Our lovely director said there wont be any layoffs, you think he'd lie to us???
