Yes but you have that crazy wacked out, overpaid, underworked, incompetent management team working on it. Don't worry.
I've just about had enough of this place. Why I didn't take redundancy I will never understand. And if I have to hear the word "SHINGO" one more time.......... Help!!!!!!
In my opinion the best thing about working here is when you clock out at the end of the day but the saddest thing is you have to clock in again the next day. I am an operator and I am a only a number and treated like a robot and I do not have feelings and my opinion does not matter. I do not like the way supervisors and managers talk to people it upsets me alot how they can treat people they way they do and get away with it and HR do not care. At the end of the day Ireland is going through a rough patch when it comes to jobs and abbott takes advantage of this by giving bad reviews for been out sick for 2 days and that is it zero in review and they get 8per cent also I am aware of supervisors who go out sick and are given hoilidays and if they like an operator they put them down for holidays. When it comes down to it I am happy Abbott give me a job so I dont have to leave Ireland but now with all the extra taxes imposed by government I was taken home more money when I started than now and Im doing overtime so next year I have no choice but to leave and I cant wait to get out redundancy or no redundancy I have enough and its sad lots of very good people working in Abbott clonmel with regards the policy of built as if intended for my family that only matters when auditors come so STOP lying.

Nothing will change here util YOU peple start doing something about it. Dont you undestand that you give them oportunity to all this sh*t that's happening here? Just start following procedures, stop lying to auditors, when Shingo auditors will come just tell them what is going on in this sh*thole place, tell them what do u think about it...what are you afraid of? It was sad when i seen people doing Shingo survey and marked all questions on right side (everything is perfect and going in good direction) and then start moaning on the cantine about targets, stupid managment etc. and constantly pressing "reset" buttons on line just to be able to hit constantly raising targets.

They have created a environment of fear. Where people are afraid to speak the truth and lie as they fear telling the truth.

Even though layoffs would be nice . We can't complain about the place either . I have a gelding it's gonna be there for years to come . With more layoffs in Sligo and Cavan I think clonmel might be the only Abbott in Ireland very soon . There putting too much into the place to abandon ship ....
Only thing I hate is the shift work but as it is having work is better than none at all

I go in do my work and at end of the day I walk out knowing I'm getting paid for it . I'm happy to work there 8 years now . Every company treats there employees that way if anything they treat us a bit better. And if I'm in the dole office in months to come so be it . Others are in the same situation .
