I worked in Abbott for 7 years left in 2013 with voluntary redundancie.I got 38000 euro, best decision I ever made ,crowd of back stabbers there,Im now working in miloko Carrick on suir on double the wages I was getting in Abbott. I clean toilets and work lines and take home 724 euro a week. I was making medical devices and saving people's life for 435 euro a week!!!!!

Oh and a tip gor any of u working in des ,if ur on crimp ,wen u press pre crimp press it again instead of crimp, I knew an operator who wud do this every day he wud have his hourly target done in 25 mins and then just relax for the other 35 mins!Then you see the other operator s sweating like mad gor a solid hour to try get their number s!He knew jow to play the game!!!

3 cycle shift & they can do so because we're in a pandemic it's legal so their not breaking contracts
Pandemic or no pandemic my contract says 2 cycle shift and I’m not doing it without serious compensation like a 30 percent pay increase, they can do that alright
Shift rate should be at least 30%

All other places around paying €700/800 pw
Abbott clonmel €500pw if you're lucky
It's on my door so don't have travel expenses thankfully.
