abbott diabetics

Thanks in advance, serious replies only appreciated.
Looking at the LA DSS job in ADC. First off, is the covid-19 vaccine required, or is it just testing, or none? Also, what is the DSS median (mid-point) base salary, and what is the 100% OTE (On Target Earnings) budgeted at per year?

Abbott doesn't require vaccination or testing for field sales.

Abbvie/Abbott. Everyone has to wear a mask, and non-vaccinated have to do weekly on-site covid tests. There hasn't been any signs of a mandate and I'm not sure there will be one. We have our own testing sites, phone app for tests/results, and we are in a financially tight spot with Humira coming off patent. Firing even 5-10% of employees seems like a big risk when we already have systems in place to keep up testing.

how many times will keep reposting the same BS? You have problems.

1 patient studies on cafe pharma based on a single personal opinion are hysterical!

Low cost product (Libre 2) equals low margin, which calls for high volume sales to make ROI. So often in these type business models, companies are unwilling to pay salespeople to build in value to offset higher cost because the product sells itself on cost, so technically they need less of a salesperson to achieve their goals, hence the low pay vs Dexcom or Medtronic, hence the need for more Associate Reps.

Sounds right to me. Will also be true of the FSL3....low cost CGM. Maybe take a second gig at Burger King or Walmart to make ends meet.

Why should we change something that not broken. Our pay structure rewards the top talent.

I believe the issue is how you define reward. When most all reps are not making near 100% of goal, and the top talent is barely making 100% if that, then your forecasting methodology relative to other companies is skewed, meaning you're paying your salespeople less than your competitors are. If you can't see this, you're not paying attention! Just ask any salesperson, or better yet take a look at the reports.

UNDERPAID SALES STAFF!!!!

i'm lookin'! I've always made bonus and achieved goals. here, not so much. was sold a false bill of goods

If someone cannot see how the pay structure here is rigged and flawed to grossly and inaccurately depict a reps actual performance…then I feel sorry for you. You should perhaps consider a brain camp this summer? Maybe that’s still a thing? Although, it truly only requires super basic common sense to understand the issue at hand, so on second thought maybe just keep trolling the internet instead of attempting to understand the core aspect of your job. You will probably be more successful doing that.

there is a reason you’re a failure so look in the mirror pal.
current numbers above this time last year. yet, not at goal! was told trx will pay you. blah, blah, blah. why do you think there are vacancies? there is also a select group of ADC'ers on a "task force" about the incentive comp. adc knows they are jacking reps around
