Ok, I can agree with you that Cadence was the best I experienced by far. And I was definitely the happiest. Good culture for sure. I should have been more clear on my post. When I said most all pharma sucks that goes to Merck, GSK, j&j, Sanofi, Pfizer BMS, and the list goes on.

Yes, unfortunately that culture and environment is long gone. It also has been enlightening to see the true colors of certain people after the acquisition. Times like this, you quickly discover who the weasels and wimps are. One example is Jimmy Di Puppet. People warned he was completely different and he had changed in his previous job at J&J with a different acquisition and it actually is true. He is one that will be so nice to your face but then will be a complete yes man and not fight for what is right. RSL would never have stood for that. That's the difference between who is a great leader and who isn't. For now, people are striving to get those job "titles" so they can use it for other opportunities. It's all a sham. No one has any intention of staying here.

Yes, people are gradually leaving. Every week hear of a couple more that have moved to other companies. Each cadence person that leaves erode at the culture, and the culture is getting gradually replaced with people from other companies that have no idea of what this place was like before acquisition. Until eventually it is completely replaced with the mallinckrodt culture.
Lies,Fear, poor communication, terrible marketing, poor customer perception, employee dissatisfaction, unrealistic goals, lame incentive plan. Etc

Fafa flui's video tape apology to his girlfriend.

We all love your attempt to try and get everyone away from this topic, but the fact remains this company sucks and all the top people are slowly but surely leaving. You are just a freak. Anyone that leaves comments like above are just freaks. You are a freak!

Ok, love Stern. But it's back to beating a dead horse. What the hell just happened to our MSLs
Ullana, and Jackie. Well that's a big part of msl culture out the door. Cadence MSLs and how we worked together worked well. I'm sure Malli once they clean house they will have the same old non working model from big pharma that everyone hates. It doesn't get JS done.

They fired Jackie! Can you believe it? They are ruthless here but that move is going to backfire in their face. Jackie is not someone you want to make an enemy and she is well connected.

That's is really crazy. I would love to hear what lame BS they had to let her go.
They fire Jackie but keep and promote SC.
Also Malli talks about there are concerned about retention in the field force.
I wonder what the turnover rate will be this year. It might be big if a company gets something worthwhile to sell in the hospitals and is looking to fill those spots.

Agreed. I guess my personal is 9 or "noin"-sour shoes- only applies to stern fans.
But knowing we are floundering career wise, it takes a little away from my overall enjoyment.
Having a lot of free time is cool, but knowing Monday is coming and all you do is try and justify the cost, or work within a given restriction is mind numbing. Especially when most of the time your talking to people who are saving or improving people lives everyday. Also most inpatient pharmacy people can't stand your med. it's better than digging ditches.

The leaders of this organization have dug their own graves. No one realizes the time, energy, and money it takes to invest into a great sales force. Regardless what anyone says, the original Cadence sales force was a very well successfully accomplished senior group and it wasn't easy aquiring all of them. The launch even with all the barriers was extremely successful due to these people. Mallinckrodt apparently bought Cadence to acquire this extremely strong hospital sales force to grow their business. So what do they do? They shit on all the best employees.
It will be interesting who they "gift" the sales awards to this year. That is a complete fraud as they now sketch out new territories with only 2 months left in the year. I would be willing to bet that the majority of the sales reps that were in the top 15% of the organization will be gone by the end of the year or have taken on other jobs (CAS directors and managers) in order to "escape" their territories and do what they determine is a lesser of two evils.

I would have loved to escape my territory and put in for one of the new jobs. But it was not feasible because of current location. So I drift, into the endless abyss. Yep, the cadence hospital division definitely GSD. By the time Malli gets around to another product all the top revenue generators will be long gone. Stupid, I'm mean some of these reps have such killer relationships with the people that really matter. I can think of a bunch of reps at cadence I look up to as people who are real quality, and have a long standing in there territories and have really solid relationships. Too bad pharmacy relationships have been strained over the last year.
