Leave then. Those who stick it out will be rewarded.

you too will be rewarded with a painful poorly put together conference call to let you know that your 8 weeks severance will start at the end of the week. However, you will have the comic relief of hearing the VP of your division and the head of HR go back and forth with their "Can you hear me", "Can you hear me" comedy routine. THe real reward will be finding another position with a real company that values their employees as well as those they cater to. Can you guys hear me, LOL

Maybe, but we can say that management values employee very little. When you make people give up fleet vehicles and buy cars weeks before a layoff. Not to mention the date of the packages being sent out were dated in May. I think that really resonates with how you don't develop a trusting culture. I mean who does that, did the company really need to force people out of fleet vehicles. That point alone would always tell me never to let your guard down and never trust this company. Even if I decide to continue to work for whatever reason, I will always be critical and cynical of this company. Because I know eventually my card will be up due to some dumb upper management marking decision that backfired again.

The HSS team are incredible reps with tons of experience. Whoever made the decision to have such inexperienced office reps come into even ONE hospital was not the sharpest crayon! Most every OSS at this company is/was so out of touch in the hospital setting AND general decent selling skills. Just an observation

Just an observation? Where were you looking? You think selling to a hospital pharmacy makes you great? Lol. What you don't realize is real hospital reps, OR, Cath lab, procedure reps, device reps, etc laugh at you. Especially when they see you in a pair of scrubs.

It's okay. Look in the mirror and know you don't have the skill set and that's why you were canned.

I did look in the mirror and I realized I have to much respect for myself and worked hard enough in my career to be a sheep to poor leadership and let a shitty company ruin my reputation. Best thing that happened was getting let go. It says a lot about Mallinckrodt when I interviewed and every single recruiter and company knew how shitty of a company and how poorly Mallinckrodt treats their people. Good luck staying on board and selling yourself out for bare minimum pay., a shitty strategy, and a way over priced product. Everyday that passes you lose credibility in your hospitals and accounts. Have fun with the next price increase.

That's cool, they can laugh all they want about my scrubs. I don't GAS about and lame device reps who thinks there all bad ass blah blah blah. I love wearing my running gear, cycling gear under scrubs. I get the fuck out early and go do my own shit once I show my face around.
I go have a good time doing what I like, while you dumb ass device guys are in the OR, and on call. So you can laugh all you want, I couldn't care less. While I'm kicking your ass out in running, ironmans, and all the other stuff I am doing. Most device people I see are so out of shape train wrecks, they look like they should be on the table getting a cath procedure.

I was at the NSM. I didn't see anyone in Ironman shape. Make sure you wear your cycling uniform every chance you get. Gotta shave valuable seconds off your split time around the block, right Lance.

your eyesight is as bad as your physical shape, you dumb shit. Those are valuable seconds, unlike you. Now get off your fat ass and go do something.

Oh please. Get over yourself. You were fired and let go. You had no say in the matter. You can try and trash the hospital sales force here all you want, but the fact is we all have phenomenal work success track records outside of this stupid job. Many of us have launched so many different typed of drugs at so many different call points that it makes us very marketable. How do you think we got this job to begin with? The company and job suck now, but don't go there and try and trash us because you were fired. We are all looking but at least have a job until we get the right job. Your immature comments and saying that other reps are laughing at us is ridiculous. The only person that is making a fool out of themselves is you. You no longer work here yet you keep reading Mallinckrodt posts? You need help and need to let go.

OSS Reps were let go because of performance? I don't understand

easier not to try and understand just like most decisions made. Regardless of company especialky on the pharma, any way they can make numbers look better or need an excuse for lower numbers calls for cutting people. Heartless souls only care about themselves and bonuses!!
