Not understanding this post when everyone that is currently still employed here hates it here and is looking. I don't see anyone bragging that they work here. This is a garbage company and everyone knows it.

Wow you are really immature. You got a device job ......big fucking deal. We have all been offered device jobs throughout our careers.

The difference between you and us is that we weren't laid off like you. So we have the time to properly select the job we want when we want it.

I always laugh when these trolls have supposedly moved on, yet they keep spending time trolling this board? So fucking weird.

Sounds like you're mad because you couldn't get a device job. You could have 15 years hospital experience with 10+ presidents club from pharma and you would get past the Gallup with Stryker. Just admit it, you're a great pharma rep that never got called up to the big leagues.

That's amusing. The big leagues - beind in Device. You will have your own problems over in that area. You are to happy and blind from leaving Malli to see all the problems with your new gig. Stop by next year and tell us how great your job is going. I'm sure you will have a whole new list of dissatisfactions. I know plenty of device guys that hate their companies, and get paid less and less each cycle. Anyone who has lasted 10 years is HSS is talented and smart.
We are used to shlubs like you saying how much better they are because they all a device. Big freaking deal. The good thing about device is if you have a good one, your competitor will have a newer and better one in 12 months. Enjoy your short term ride.

So laughable. Guess you didn't read the post close enough when you replied. Many of us have been OFFERED device jobs and have turned them down. Have absolutely no interest in working for Stryker whatsoever. What a joke of a post.

Yep. And just keep in mind that you can't have it both ways. Be prepared to earn that guarantee back plus 25% in year 2 when you convert to the commission plan. Sure no call reporting. Results is all that will matter so be prepared for the crushing pressure that comes along with that. If you don't perform you will be gone and probably looking for a pharma job.

I was in device for 15 years and made a lot more money then i ever would've with Mallinckrodt. Albiet I worked a lot harder for it as well. I came here for the benefits and all the promises that were made to me. This company is the worst of the worst being run by people who shouldn't have the jobs they do. My advice is get out while you still can, there are a lot of jobs out there that are better then this shit hole company. You think SC or MT or anyone in upper management gives a shit about you or your credentials? They would throw their own mothers in front of a train to save themselves.

The fact they were still hiring, telling people to go buy cars, sending them to training knowingly that they were going to lay those same people off no more then a month later is disgraceful. 110 people and their families were affected by this, and here you are standing up for them like they give a shit about you. Whats the old saying, When you walk into a room and can't find the sucker in the first 5 mins then guess what? You're the sucker.

Ok this thread has become increasingly more juvenile and embarrassing. So the douche Gita device job. Big deal. We all have been offered a device job and I have never been interested for a variety of reasons. For one, I don't want to be in an OR all day and be at the beck and call of the surgeons and many, many other reasons.

The bottom line is the thread is correct about 6 months. 6 months is the time frame when it will go from where it is now (really bad, really horrible) to pure hell. Most of the senior and successful reps will already be gone by then ( and yes, believe me, they are all looking) and many of the other reps (who are embarrassingly unqualified) have taken CAS and manager positions purely to ESCAPE their sale positions. This is a fact. So by the end of the year, the sales force (what is left of one), will be left with a subpar group.

This is the time that everyone should be working with at least two recruiters and updating their resumes. There is no reason to stay with a company like this one. Any idiot would know this.
