Acctually my job is meaningful but the work enviroment sucks! People at all levels are mostly malicious and condescending in order to advance. People are getting hired and promoted especially the managerial roles without the right skillsets as long as the hiring manangers and they are of the same breed. Most superiors are only confident professional speakers that many of the gullible people mistake it as real talent and thus being taken advantage of.

Experienced but unappreciated technical associate

Technical associates are not valued as much as management people and having to report to this superiors who lack the right technical skillsets means your chances of advancing are slim unless you curry favor and prioritise their agendas else they are influential to make your life at NVS miserable since NVS promotes and employs superiors of only the same breed so their own group of people grow bigger and stronger to control by taking advantage of the powerless, gullible, blind and deaf associates.

Only the kiss assers thrive here. People get promoted and hired based on gift of the gab despite lacking the right skillsets and experience because people are so gullible and blind to question and uncover the fact and truth. Gaslighting, backstabbing, sugarcoating and throwing one under the bus are not uncommon here in order to advance.

One will be hired and promoted even lacking the function-domain-specific competency or work ethic as long as having the gift of gab because it is the only one single skill that is required and regarded as the most valuable skill for leads here.

Soul Sucking. Silos work culture. Speak Up is just a facade to weed out complainers, not opening to feedback. Favouritism permeates bosses and management

While there are some great people, there are also a lot of a**h**** who ruin things - while senior managers turn a blind eye. Integrity and transparency is not the strong strength of this company. Plus it takes forever to get anything done - especially since there is no accountability and ownership. People either blame outsourcing/off shoring or only look in their own lane without a care to see the larger picture. Yuck - can't wait to leave this place

glad I quit, what a life sucking place that was. highly competitive atmosphere and people who do hard work but have suggestions for improvement are seen as complainers and are reprimanded for it. promoting a "yes" culture without promoting a culture of change and evolution. silos. silos. silos. everywhere.

Horrible manager, given a tough territory. Quota not distributed based on potential/current growth. Bad team morale.

Great people but every admin task is 10 steps longer and more complicated then other companies using the same platforms. Also, there is a lack of work/life balance. Meetings are frequent and often scheduled with little to no notice.

Company placed Michael Steele as Head of Global Medical Affairs. He's such an idiot. Sucked up big time while in an ad interim role, and got the permanent role. Kiss butt, brainless, plays favoritism with those who pretend to like him. Senior Management later got it together and kicked his ass out, trying to find him another job. Just kick his ass out altogether. He's a liability.

Well, veeeeery disorganized and incompetence everywhere. And i am not speaking only about management. Incompetence is on all levels. Is just a nightmare. Only inertia makes, somehow, things working.
