"World Class" Employee Of The Week

He is never leaving it will be hotdogs and blame forever. How many people besides me have an ulcer because of this place?

Its the most difficult and unrewarding company I have ever worked for. If we just had some positive communication and clear expectations it would go along way. But the shity attitudes and sarcastic rants from the management is what dictates the poor morale around here. I don't know how the people are treated in California but there is something bad wrong in the heads of this group. If they go home and treat their families this way i feel really soory for them. Keeping people miserable is their mission and they show they are the best at it.
 




An analyst left earlier this week. I know of several more who already have start dates lined up at other places but just haven't given their notices yet. It will be interesting to see how the company absorbs these losses. I see new employees but it doesn't look like they are doing much. As the work increases, more and more people will exhaust and leave, creating yet higher work load for those remaining. I don't see how the work can be done by those new, untrained employees. There is one new employee who seems to have a brain. He looks around and listens, thinking "how the hell did I get here." He has those distant eyes, the same ones I see when I stand in front of the bathroom mirror. And I also feel the burn and irritation of that DAMN AIR FRESHENER MACHINE THAT ALWAYS SQUIRTS ME IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD!!!
 




Does anybody know who lost the bag of weed in the men's room on Friday? From what I understand it was that good high test stuff. I guess that we will all be peeing in the cup on Monday. I could understand if a prescription of stupid pills were found. We would all know who those belonged to.

Not everyone keeps working at this shit hole. Many, many have left. Just look at all of the new faces, most of them will leave too.

The new hires cause a lot of problems, they need more supervison, make more mistakes....but they are cheaper. Because PW and his crew of fools have driven away many of the mid and senior level management there are fewer supervisors to watch and mentor the newer staff.....a cyclic problem all caused by bad senior management.

This company has lost a lot. It has lost it's reputation, it has lost much of the senior staff and the expertise that they had, it has lost many of the mid-level supervisors and the expertise they had. The experienced staff that remains are overworked and very streesed out. Toxic-toxic environment

Waterstreet is to blame for the loss of corporate value. They will not be able to sell this turd for anything close to the debt AAI holds. To do that they need to fix the problem they created, and that means getting rid of the idiots they brought in.

Well said, however, when any of what you stated is brought up to those in the mid and senior level management that person who brings it up may no longer be an employee of the company.
It's also a toxic environment because those that work the hardest see those in upper positions taking the rewards for what they have achieved. It's not a Team environment, it's all about who takes the credit for what someone else accomplishes.
Then you have the rumor mills, no one bothers to actually go to the individual in the rumor they just keep spreading their venom. Who would have ever thought that being an adult in a small company would be like being in high school again? If you don't fit in, you're not one they want to 'be friends with' much less employ. The ones you think you trust, think again, it's a backstabbing environment.
It's funny, everyone blames PW, really? Grow up and see that's it's not all his fault. He's got people who tell him things that are already twisted, blame those people.

Desperation makes people do a lot of things that you would not expect them to do. That is why PW little slaves are so nasty....they are trapped and will do anything to keep getting a check.

Perhaps you didn't understand me, I wouldn't lower my standards to work for a company that has no respect for it's employees. My standards are much higher than any member of management and some of it's employees. Those few employees that will throw another under the bus to make themselves look good and kiss up to get that special taste. You know who they are.
 




performance evaluations are coming up, you guys!!! I don't really understand the point of them. There are some categories that are not applicable to my job, yet I'm supposed to respond to them. For example, financial awareness/ customer focus (or something). I come in, weigh out some standard, weigh out some buffer salts, maybe shake the solutions a little bit, and then just sit around for 4 and a half hours while a machine analyzes them. I can't really figure out how I am supposed to rate myself with respect to financial awareness, other than the fact that I don't weigh out more standard or buffer than I need. Does that constitute financial awareness? If so, have I met expectations in that category? Will I get a raise? Maybe even a promotion? Someone, please give me some advice/guidance. I need a promotion or at least a raise.
