Changes For Talent Retention
1. Ensure ALL not just new are paid well.
2. Hybrid 2 or 3 days in office with flexibility.
3. Casual dress code
4. Return the 2 days sick time that you stole and add more. Some companies offer a birthday PTO and a Summer Day.
5. Make sick time PTO time like every other company has done.
6. Summer Early Fridays hours.
7. Early end of day before a Holiday.
8. Deal with toxicity instead of sweeping it under the rug.
9. Value, encourage and promote hard working employees.
People who the company thought would never leave, have easily found new and better jobs. Turnover will continue until the company changes with the times. Most employees like the company and only leave due to what the market is offering.
