Why Resignations are Happening

Changes For Talent Retention
1. Ensure ALL not just new are paid well.
2. Hybrid 2 or 3 days in office with flexibility.
3. Casual dress code
4. Return the 2 days sick time that you stole and add more. Some companies offer a birthday PTO and a Summer Day.
5. Make sick time PTO time like every other company has done.
6. Summer Early Fridays hours.
7. Early end of day before a Holiday.
8. Deal with toxicity instead of sweeping it under the rug.
9. Value, encourage and promote hard working employees.

People who the company thought would never leave, have easily found new and better jobs. Turnover will continue until the company changes with the times. Most employees like the company and only leave due to what the market is offering.

Amazing ! ! ! !

This is what should happen, but it won't happen.
Don't sit around and wait for changes to happen.
And don't try to fight "City Hall".
You will lose.

Your best bet is to leave the job and the aggravation behind.

Exactly, too much aggravation. Old school political bullshit. Things will never change. Survey or no survey.

Oh my god. This! Could not have said it better!

I love you, this is the perfect statement. We could present this to the board in our meeting to overthrow the toxic senior managers on the 11|10.

Dumb question, let’s say you give an offer to an executive, a guy with a track record in the Pharmaceutical industry of increasing sales wherever he goes. He wants to he 100% remote. You say no and he goes to a competitor and runs rings around you. At what point do you wake up Human Resources?????

The worst thing that caused the mass exodus was bringing people back to the office from virtual and making them get dressed. I thought it was One Taro? Guess not, ever see the Sun People dressed in jeans daily? If the policies were different myself and others would still be giving blood sweat tears to the organization.

And it will continue. Blondie is focused on making sure anyone who's stuck around for more than two years is underpaid, denies as many promotions as she can, protecting toxic leaders (she's actually explained leader toxic behavior as "the actions were caused by stressful conditions at home"), she comes up with the most asinine outdated rules and policies and keeps the employee manual a secret because she adds changes when questioned by employees. Her actions are approved unconditionally by her boss who's also toxic, arrogant, rude and obnoxious plus fully believes she's a gift from god to the company. HR is unapproachable and Untrustworthy and couldn't care less about employees at this organization. There's a bigger wave of resignations coming up because they're too ignorant and "old fashioned" to wake up. The first people who should've bee replaced were those two.

True. They are surely toxic. They think gathering people in the lunchroom for breakfast is the “cure all”. Has to be a reason why so many jobs have not been filled. People are not coming here for breakfast, Halloween costume contests, or Food Trucks they have to spend THEIR own money for. People head to virtual work environments or hybrids (3 days at home). Also to places with flexibility. I myself am a night owl, why can’t I work 3 PM -11 PM? Yes and why can’t I wear jeans to the office, a filthy bug infested office as I was “attacked” by something jumping around the bathroom a few weeks back. Ever see Sun folks? They are casually dressed every day. Time for blondie and her sidekick to go. It’s 2022, time to wake up HR.

You don't build a company culture by offering breakfast, snacks, food trucks and contests. Those things are little perks. You build a culture by speaking with people, and actually listening and caring about what matters to them.

Nobody wants to listen, nobody cares. Very sad for an organization to not care about its employees. It’s ok though, word is spreading like wildfire in Westchester.

Management is taking the easy path with their "if you don't like our policies, you can leave".
You think they want to sit around all day and write up employee development plans that would actually benefit the company? Hell no! That takes a lot of effort.

The culture has always been to promote their own buddies and ignore the hardworking people who deserve promotions.
