DS had absolutely nothing to do with hiring the new CEO. He knew nothing about EGS getting a new CEO. Another illusion of granduer on his part. DS was completely flumoxed the day Thierry told senior staff he was out. DS was aghast. With a new CEO he might actually have to accomplish something.

Man, we got ourselves a winner with DS. Is he for real? When is this guy getting the boot? We don't need do-nothing egomaniacs in this company if we are going to make it.
 






This company is the Pitts, everything written here is absolutely true! I will tell you that TT and DS dont have many friends here, and its because of their own actions! I hate to wish bad on anyone, but those are two people that I hope fail for the rest of their careers!

I hear they already hate TT at his new company, where he is trying to take over, and all he runs is marketing. He was reduced to a DS!!

Ouch, that's kinda harsh. Though me thinks they should continue to work together. Hopefully TT can hire him as his new marketing asst. Also where's TT? I pity the poor fools!

TT doesn't have a new job!! Who would hire him?? He's still hanging around the Redwood City Office trying to tell people what to do. He is so full of himself that he still thinks his mere presence in RWC adds value to EGS. Kinda fell sorry for the guy. He is completely lost now that no one pays any attention to him, listens to him, or kowtows to him. He will never understand that people gave him "respect" and followed his orders only because he was CEO. Now that he doesn't have a title, no one gives a rat's ass about him.

me too, he was assistant to the CFO for most part and nowhere near marketing until toward the acquisition by medtronic...somehow this guy was connected to the powers at kyphon, ended being in leadership positions in production, product development, marketing etc but not responsible for anything in those positions, just ceremonial posts! He is quite clueless on medical devices as a whole and in general. Feel sorry for you guys to have him.

I am getting really impatient. How much longer do we have to suffer under DS? I thought he was going to be fired by June 1. EGS and the hard working employees can't take his inept fumblings much longer.

Same here. And either DS is gone soon or I am. Every post here with one or two exceptions has been about how he's an insufferable and an inept leader. He's a condescending do-nothing know-it-all that has no business working here.

Here's the part I don't understand---every post in this thread has been a negative commentary on DS that overall has received nearly 2000 hits! Is anybody worth anything in this company going to take action to get rid of him?
 






It's about time y'all realized what a lame brain DS is. Kyphon rewarded his as$ kissing skills despite his lack of knowledge at a deeper level. This gand berates and belittles his employees but boy he talks a good game. Trouble is he can't follow though, can't execute. P

Kyphon promoted him into roles such as marketing that DS had no business in simply because they knew they were about to be acquired by Medtronic. Medtronic saw what a lightweight DS was and kept him for one year only since that was part of the acquisition deal. At the end of one year at Medtronic they showed DS the door!

Some one complained about "DS bashing" in another post. No bashing here. Just insights and accuracies that help us all make sense of what is going on at EGS. We are spread out over the country. Finally this board has given us information that hasn't been sanitized by Senior Staff or the Board. It allows us in the field to share insights and information.

Give us all a break. We are all savvy enough to be able to ascertain which posts are complete BS and which ones are true. All the insights about DS ring so true that those of us in marketing/sales have all seen his complete incompetence, arrogance, and inability to complete projects (CPT code) that are detailed in these posts. Makes complete sense that he was just as worthless in his previous job.
 






New CEO wants loyalty, teamwork and open communication from EGS employees. And he's got it here in spades:

A loyal team united in openly communicating the ineptitude, unprofessionalism and total lack of relevance to this company by DS.

It's clear this is the work of DS. There's nothing entertaining in having an egomaniac, do-nothing individual that's ruining it for an entire company. These sentiments are universally shared by most people in sales/marketing at EGS and were not posted by just one individual. Which might explain to you why 80% of sales reps are looking to get out.

WTF? I thought I had DS's job! No, wait I'm the same "loser" that keeps responding back and forth in these posts. No one else has anything bad to say about the work performance by DS except me. Let's face it: DS is loved for the amazing contributions to this company's bottom line. He is everyone's hero except for me. Why? Cuz I want his job gawddammit!
 






I used to think these posts were funny but now I'm just really pissed that DS is still at the company. He's costing me accounts because he can't follow-through. He has no reimbursement strategy, no cpt code, no plan...nothing. And I'm supposed to jump hoops for this guy? Am I the only one in sales that thinks this way about DS? I'm ready to walk if DS is not gone soon.
