When is the realignment for chronic care?

There aren’t any WARN notices for either NJ or PA listed. Any major changes in next 2 months would be public information by now. Plus there are union staff at all sites, no major cuts would happen without some notice.

Wrong. Announcing changes is what triggers the 60 day WARN notice. At that point it will be public info.

NOT WRONG........60 days.....like the last two times. They posted the WARN notice when they announced the layoffs ......that is 60 days. Pay attention.

The person who posted this must be a moron from chronic care because they are making the same argument as the prior post. The warn notice is triggered by the announcement of layoffs which is why there is nothing public yet. Get ready

We will see. We actually (will) have 3 products. And future approvals. Still thinking you’re a nobody but posting as a somebody. This time next month I guess we’ll both know who’s right.

Looks like I was right. I take no joy in Merck totally mis-management of Chronic Care. I hope everything turns out ok for the entire Chronic Care Division.

It's based off competencies, compliance, and location to center of territory. New territories haven't been released to reps and neither has percentages of people being let go. Does anyone have any idea what percentage of reps are being retained?
How large will territories be for one product, say how many customers is one responsible for?

I have a feeling we have had some insiders posting on this tread in the past. Could we get information on how many DCO, CTL & CTR’s are going to be needed in the new Chronic Care division? It sure would help especially for us who have young families.

50% head count reduction. Regardless if CC Drug gets FDA approval.

If they do the right thing it should be at least 50%. Only need to focus on writers. If doc hasn’t written by now they aren’t going to. Also hope they think about CC targets. Easier calls to make-access and most of these are usually in groups. You can make 8 ”calls” in 2 offices. Hope they don’t think just on number of targets. Hate it for all of us but those left need meaningful work.

The plan calls for significant reductions, it's going to be ugly. Get out while you can!

I agree! When they said, stop promotion of Belsomra that’s telling you the hatchet is coming down hard.
Verquvo is a niche product. Thanks to marketing and the label. Whoever signed off on prior hospitalization for Heart failure, or outpatient IV diuretics should be fired. CHF is a competitive market in the branded field, Merck Handcuffed, its reps from day one. Gefepixant is going to be another niche product. Someone at Merck will sign off on another label that handcuffs the remaining sales reps.

This comes as no surprise to anyone who works in the chronic care division. Merck management knew this day was coming. Our DCO always took questions from the salesforce about the future of chronic care. Every single time they said the CC division is the place to be. Chronic cough drug, Belsomra, Verquvo, cholesterol medication. All lies!!! I know several reps, including myself, who tried to get out of CC but their CTL or DCO wouldn’t let them. Now we are left to see if we are a handful of people who stick around.
