A very intelligently though out remark. However I never said that I practice law, it is my wife and eldest son who have chosen the legal field. One on either side, is how I see it. Thanks everyone for the enlightened responses and witty repartee. It has been fun, but the grandkids are wanting to go play at the beach now.

Sorry to disappoint you and eliminate any paranoia, but I am not a board member. Actually I was an AE on the east coast. I left UHS but I have not been in contact with many of my former associates, both sales and operations. When I left had we had sole source contracts with every acute care facility in my territory. Sure some signed because of GPO obligations but the rest signed because of a good operations reputation and sales integrity (yes they both do exist)
I hate to hear that contracts have been lost and the company's business decisions have adversely damaged both company reputation and employee satisfaction. I left UHS, by choice, but I still wish all the employees the best.

I am so disappointed. A bad 80's movie? Well possibly I guess. I did think that I provided some entertainment while deflecting most of the angry replies. I do find your post quite witty and well thought out. Inputting the 80's movie idea was a touch of genius. Touché and well played. Oh very good. Very good. I truly enjoyed this last effort to sound intelligent. Your 2 semesters at the local community college's tuition was money well spent. I trust your semester of Psychology 101 provided you with a deeper understanding of the human psyche.
Of course I plan on staying in the mid-Atlantic area, it is a place we chose after considering other areas of the country. It is better than living where the snow fall each year is greater than the IQs of many of the people who posted hateful comments.
Shame on you folks. I thought UHS employees were polite, thoughtful, and articulate. I hope those who posted "mean" replies are not a representative sample of the people who are supposed to provide excellent customer service.

Well I certainly you for the positive post. However I do not know who Bruce and Caitlin, so I can not reply to that remark. I did enjoy working with the customers and trying to convince them to sign with UHS for products we could not compete with KCI and Hill-Rom (the infamous support surfaces we that looked like a cheap knock-off and NPWT units that were generations behind). I tried not to con the customer but that was frowned upon by my "specialists". But I hope that UHS can "get back to the basics" and treat their employees a the most valuable asset again.
Gonna head back to the beach but gotta keep my eyes open for sharks. They are on crack or something this year.

I really was an AE with UHS who retired a few years ago. Everything I posted was the total truth. I just wanted to see how folks would react to the truth.
