What's new

Again you have to lower yourself to foul language. Notice that I was able to deflect all your foul language successfully using wit and humor while accurately depicting your true nature. I hope that UHS can rebound because I truly despise Hill-Rom. By focusing on the core business and turning away from PH, NPWT, and the 360 addiction they can regain the confidence the customers used to have.
Also, i retired 2 years ago so I do not have to refocus my attention to my job-proper financial planning is important.

Shocking how immature people can be. Shut up and enjoy life and your job....if not, then go work somewhere else. I think UHS is on the right track....some of us still care and really want to succeed.

Really? The only people left at this abyss of a company are ones that are afraid of leaving because this is all they know or people that are unskilled enough to get a career started elsewhere. This company is a joke. It is the one place where a person that once delivered beds and cleaned poop off mattresses can be promoted to a 360 Director. But I guess the skills are transferable since a 360 is simply moving one pile of shit from rental to a long term lease.

So it is possible to move up the old company ladder. That's good to know. Everyone needs to have the possibility of being promoted if their skills and commitment merit upward mobility. Isn't that the "American Dream" ( not the recently departed Dusty Rhodes) of being rewarded for outstanding performance. But only if they do merit being promoted to Director level. Being able to "clean poop" effectively may not be the exact talent UHS needs for its leadership positions, but it does seem to provide some poetic justice.

Those were quite pithy and intelligently thought out replies. I appreciate the humor and intellect that went into the posts. Once again I hate to burst your bubbles, but I am not Blackford or any member of past, current, or the future executives of UHS. As I mentioned before, I was just an AE on the east coast. My only contact with the executives happened when they would come around on their yearly circuit to explain the new budget numbers and the quantum physics they employed to reach these magic, unattainable goals. I do, however, appreciate the thought but no executive here. I wonder if they still make their annual treks out to the great unwashed masses to promise to help meet these new, crystal ball attained goals.
As I first said, I am just a former employee who wanted to get some kind of feedback on how the branch environment is now.

Why don't you stick your head in your old branch and ask them, or don't you want to darken their doorway with your presence?

I no longer live near my old branch. Plus there are no local branches located near the beach where we do live now. I would visit my old branch but I very seldom travel to that state. Hateful comment but it deserved an answer. Sounds like what my grandchildren call a "hater". Try and be happy in your current situation or find one that pleases you. I don't think you are in sales but I have,in the past, come across some on the operations side who were in such foul humor.

I apologize if I incorrectly insinuated that all operations personnel were like that, I only meant that I had noticed the "chip on my shoulder " attitude on a very few of the operations people I dealt with. Most, including those who worked in my branch office, were very dedicated to providing my customers with top-notch service and meeting the customer's requirements. That was a point I used as a sales tool when meeting with our customers. I'm sure most AEs, if they would honestly reflect, would have to agree.

Why don't you see if there are any scheduled activities at the senior center or take your grandkids somewhere. Move on, quit living in your glorious past.

I would go to the senior center, but I am only 55. I will most likely spend part of the day down on the beach. It seems that UHS is now staffed by several people who not only display bad manners, but also lack tact and wit. Probably was a good time to leave. I wonder if there are any UHSers left who are not unhappy and prefer attacking others. No joy at work equals no joy in your personal life. Make the best of the situation.

Don't forget the sunscreen!

I wish all the employees at UHS success in their endeavors, especially defeating Hill-Rom with upcoming contracts. I really just wanted to find out how the local branches were faring, not trying to "stir the pot". From the replies I have received I can make a fairly accurate picture of the UHS current staff mentality.

Maybe things will get better when you get merged with Recovercare/Joerns. Three horrible companies all merged into one giant ball of shit.

Dude. You are one sick pud.

You are not only FOS, you are a narcissist POS. Only beach you hang out is waterfront Newark. Great place for sewage such as yourself.

What a shame. Coming here and asking a simple question, trying to see what was new at UHS, would cause such harsh replies. I understand now that you must truly hate your job and the life in which you seem to be stuck. I do feel sorry for any family you may have if this is how you respond to simple questions.
For your information, I am not "FOS" as you assume, and I do not live anywhere near Newark. I am happily residing somewhere on the East coast below the Mason-Dixon Line (about 200 yards from the Atlantic oceanfront). I guess your jealousy could lead to your anger, but I am no psychiatrist. Both my wife and son are in the legal profession but none of us would be able to properly diagnose from which malady you suffer.
As I said earlier, these antagonistic responses have clearly shown the answer to my question, What's new at UHS? The answer is a lot of anger, jealousy between divisions, and lack of social politeness. Thanks for being such a good participant in my blind test. Appreciate it.

Ok. So you worked at UHS, and went to Law School at the same time. You are a real tool below the Mason Dixon line. I am sure you also did some acting on the side too, as your clientele in law must be off and you have plenty f time to act on this site in a bloviated way.
