What's going on @ Otto Bock?

No ass chewing, positive meetings now that the dead weight is gone, if only a couple of the RBMs would lighten up on their people, more would get accomplished,(WEST) get off their backs and stop the micro managing, good people left alone get good results

The only true statement made above is: "....good people left..."

Ha Ha! Get your resume' updated!

No ass chewing? What meeting were you in? Or were you sleeping through ours? Not to mention - where were you for the last 18 months? Face the facts - even though the captain is gone the ship is still sinking. The truth of the matter is that it's too far gone and the sooner we all realize it the better off we will be. The rest of the week will be the calm before the storm.

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess not your meeting, there was no ass chewing, maybe BD already knew and decided it
wasn't worth it to ass chew anyone
here long enough too know an ass chewing as in the past meetings, probally longer then you have been at OBOS
pray OB keeps you! most others will be gone if they don't fit the OB mold
the new division will be looking for good Reps, not cry babies who have nothing better to do but whine about the past, like in Rambo-"it's over Johnny"

"good reps" ???

Good reps are looking for a good company that offers good products, pays a good commission and treats them good (well).

Let's look at the scorecard shall we?

good reps: all gone
good company: look who they forced upon us as a leader - a brainless nitwit who drove the company into the ground in record time.
good products: maybe 20 years ago - newsflash: $5/day from others
good commission: industry-wide joke
good treatment: how can you breathe underneath all those reports?

I heard from the receptionist that you could still hear Ben yelling as the cab pulled off S. Fair Lane onto W. Alameda. "KAIZEN!"

wow, maybe you should leave too, or did you bail already, there's still plenty of business to be had for us, we need psoitive direction and focus and to leave the Reps to selling, not constant reports holding us back or calls, in the past "we owned our territory" and did whatever we could to drive business, yea we lost a lot, but it's there to be had again with the right attitude, over 10 years I'm here, guess is the optimist in me

BD is gone, and yes it has needed to happen for a while. The problem is that he was only part of the problem. The sales and operations side of the business is still being managed daily by people that don't understand the orthopedic device business. The current "leader" of the sales organization has been in place for more than 6 months now and the current regional management team has been there at least as long. You don't build an orthopedic based business by calling on discharge planners and PT's. Every person who has ever worked for a successful orthopedic company knows they all follow the same formula; hire solid distributors with instant physician access that can have an immediate impact. All the good companies, Arthrex, DJO, Breg, Bledsoe, now Ossur, Mitek, etc, all understand this and have become who they are not because they pass out gummy bears and sheets that tell you what insurance companies they are contracted with; because they know this is a relationship business and in light of all other things, relationships trump everything. Until Germany sees this fact and accepts it, nothing will get better. It's sad because with the financial support of a solid company, OB Healthcare, OS had a real opportunity and it may be too late. None the less, high fives and corrective all around! Have fun!

Speaking of brilliant marketing ideas by our CMO, this is the song he wants to put on the phones when someone is on hold:

The reason why no one has stepped up is because they have no leaders. JF is a joke and KH is clueless. Where do you begin putting the pieces back together after humpty dumpty fell from the sky and splattered all over the ground. Only suggestion, start offering distributor ships all over the country and avoid saying the words Ottobock Orthopedic services. You will have better luck in getting people to speak with you and not throw you out on your rear end!!! Kaizen!!!

P.S. If anyone has any gummy bears left let me know. My kids loved them!!

If you really want to know....

It's quiet because all the rabble-rousers who were posting for the last year have all been called back to work for Mother Bock. Funny how things move forward to the past. Hopefully now that we have the "golden" children back we can save what's left of the company. Watch for a new contest to create the new name and look of the CPM company going forward. I vote for SuttaLogicDannaRontoOrthaServiRehabalicious. The new logo will be a salesperson getting rammed up the....
