I quit that shit before the recent purge, pursuing my dream of not working there. Just in time as well. A few assholes got laid off including this one bitch everyone hates. I know for sure that allot of permanent people were laid off including the IT operations manager. The primary focus was on them because they plan to outsource allot of IT operations. They laid off allot of IT Support people but the Networking team was spared for the most part. When they got rid of J. the old CIO we all smelled a purge coming. Then they pulled a Wright Medical.They get severance until February so its not that bad at least.

Thanks for the informative post. I didn't know they got rid of the manager. So they really were trying to get rid of most of the permanent employees in order to save money. Which is what I heard about a week ago. Permanent people cost too much to keep and why not if you're going to outsource. I'm in the room adjacent to IT and I know the bitch you're talking about. I was planning to punch her in the face before I resigned. Oh well. She'll get whats coming.
