I am on the east coast and don't know Lyon or Welch. However, you would think hr would take notice of views nearing 80 thousand for these two combined. I guess favortism is still around MRK. We have a few in the east too (Zarrett). Unfortunately company headcount will have to fall below 20k persons before these types are let go. You and I will be long gone years before them. Stay strong.
 




i might check in from time to time to see how old whackyass is killing the business and the region. he totally sucks ass!! Got what I was hoping for-to leave and get away from such a toxic region with an incompetent DCO who sits at the head and political corrects everything. he has no idea of what to do next.

BEWARE! If you don't succumb to whackyass welsh and his mind-numbing ways you're gone! He'll blame all negatives on the reps and that's your key he's trying to get rid of you. He's great face-to-face but will stab you in the back big-time behind closed doors. He's the most disingenuous man you'll every meet and he'll have you thinking he's Mr. Nice Guy. Don't fall it!

I wished I was hear to listen to how he'll spin the company surveys, which he'll get "whacked" on. I'm sure he'll blame it on those who are no longer around, or, he wont believe the results because of.......

Good luck my ex-fellow merckies. The company sucks and will continue to suck with the amateur hour that's on public display from the west region. I have it on good authority that many of you will be gone shortly, but don't believe me. Believe Whacky! See how that works for you.

Good thing daddy got you to where you are because you'd never make it anywhere else where you would have to actually do something to get promoted.

I had plenty of people to choose from. But the lame ass reps in Montana, Idaho, Utah and Nevada left me with little choice. You all need to get in line and follow my lead. I know what I'm doing. We've got to look at things and do things differently. Merck is a great company with great leaders. I will find out who the people are that are dragging us down. I'm watching.

You are a mediocre DCO. The arrogance is actually a sence of grandure. I have never seen you do anything worth of note. I really think the best Merck people are the reps. They work and produce results. You do nothing and ignore the obvious. You have problems to solve but I guess the higher you go the less you do and the more you judge. Funny!!!!!!

Don't ever cross the lemming. He's out for blood right now because things aren't going so well. And his method for retaliation is intimidation, veiled threats, and a feign like he's just trying to assist. Just like an earlier poster mentioned-lets see how you look at the end of the year Welsh. Love watching whackyass skirm in his seat-which we all know he is. He's being beaten into submission by a lack of enthusiasm and company morale right now. How's it feel Welsh? the worst part of it, is that this beyond empty suit Welch, who obviously lacks vision, (to put it mildly) is probably making more than many doctors, lawyers, small business owners, and Harvard MBA consultants...better to be lucky than good I guess...

Welch doesn't have to worry about making his home mortgage every month or being able to pay for his kid's college..the man is on easy street...for life...
 




Not sure about that. Old whackyass has a big mortgage to pay with his fancy home. He's not on easy street-people are watching him as well. The whack has been exposed for what he is-emptiness pulling in a big salary. You never know what will be a tipping point for action against someone in this company. Who knows, maybe he will break a policy or two.
