My friend.Do not confuse your personal grievances with the wider need of Marken. Coker, Nigel and Hayer are all secondary symptoms of the cancer called Wheeler. Marken has always been run in nepotism! Nigel, Coker and Hayer are just local extension of that culture.Don't dilute the attention and focus on the real problem which is Weasel Wheeler.A a long suffering employee I remember the not to distance days of happiness and contentment, job pride and satisfaction before WW ego landed and screwed this once great company. Nigel,Coker and Jay are secondary cancers to the SOB primary cancer killing Marken. WW will walk away richer and smugger and again blameless as long as we deflect attention to symptoms of Wheelers disease! TRY TELLING THAT TO THOSE FORCED OUT!! WW DID NOT TELL CONNOLLY AND FRIENDS TO EMPLOY FAMILY OR PUB MATES IF CONNOLLY HAD THE BRAIN AND GUTS TO MARKEN IN LONDON WOULD NOT BE WHERE IT IS TODAY THEY SPOUT LIES IN DECISION AND FAILURE WHILE OTHERS HAVE TO GET THEM OUT THE SH**T THEY ARE GOOD AT ONE THING HIDING!!

A credible rumor that an HQ marken employee has recently leaked some very derogatory emails that focus on around 8 or 9 current and recently ex employees showing the management for what they are!! the emails are currently being looked at by a solicitor anyone interested might get to see the reason for the personal grievances very soon everyone can then make there own mind up
 












Marken is an English Company its HQ is in England. There is the folly in Rayleigh but thats just a white elephant where they hold back slapping jamboree's each time the sales figures get worse or WW has another steller idea to turn wine into water and blow smoke up each others crack singing qing gan gooley whilst pretending to like each other.

Emails I have seen some now they emanate mostly from Europe/UK but there are some from the US RDU!! released recently and span 18 months until just recently I think the ones most of the people who read this will be interested in are those from London!! around 30 from the 70 or more so wait an see I'm sure they will be in the open soon

The sad fact is that she will probably have to explain away her time at Marken rather than being proud to have it on her resume, which would have been the case a couple of years ago.

Then again she should have been aware of what was going on and perhaps have challenged some of it although when a whole management team is dead set against you delving too deeply into there decision making 'prowess' it could very easily seem that escape is the only option, so good luck to her really.

Interesting that the UK management didn't replace their HR manager, probably don't want employment law getting in the way of 'progress' and un-advertised promotions.
 






THE EMAILS ALL 80+ OF THEM I DON'T KNOW WHO RELEASED THEM BUT THEY COVER THE FULL SPECTRUM FROM DIRECTOR TO DRIVER!! 30+ RELATE TO LONDON SOME FUNNY SOME PATHETIC BUT SOME ARE SERIOUS.. IT SHOWS THE MANAGERS IN LONDON FOR WHAT THEY REALLY ARE.. SHIT.. THE MAILS COVER THE PAST 18 MONTHS BUT RECENT AS JULY: THEY SINGLE OUT ABOUT 10 PEOPLE SOME OF WHOM ARE STILL AT MARKEN!! A CURRENT TRANSPORT MANAGER CROMEY.. DESCRIBES ONE LADY OF FAKING PREGNANCY WITH THE OPERATIONS MANAGER COKER AGREEING .. ANOTHER FROM THE SAME SO CALLED MANAGER STATES ANOTHER ONE OF HIS STAFF IS THICK & STUPID.. THIS FROM A MAN (OR MOUSE) WHO TOOK FIVE YEARS BEFORE BEING ABLE TO DO THE JOB HIMSELF.. THE LADY FAKING PREGNANCY GAVE BIRTH THE STUPID GUY MOVED ON TO A MANAGEMENT POSITION HIMSELF.. A WHOLE DEPARTMENT ARE TARGETED IN THESE EMAILS WHEN.. SOME VERY SERIOUS STATEMENTS IN THERE.. PASS THE BOOK CONNOLLY DOES NOT ESCAPE EITHER!! ALWAYS CLEVER ENOUGH TO LET COKER TO DO HIS DIRTY WORK .. THERE ARE A NICE BUNCH OF EMAILS ABOUT HE EMPLOYED THE SALESMAN THAT WASN'T AND HOW IT COST THE COMPANY $$$ MORE THAN ENOUGH TO EMPLOY SOMEONE DECENT INSTEAD.. I BELIEVE THESE EMAILS ARE ABOUT TO BE SENT TO THE OWNERS AND WORK IS GOING ON TO LOCATE THOSE SLATED..

All is well if best people for the job would be promoted, but if that were the case we would have another situation in London today. it would also be more 'cost effective' to stop creating unnecessary titles/promotions for friends / family, those are very costly and not something MKN can afford.

You're right, just like incest nepotism weakens the gene pool and boy is the managerial gene pool weak! In London we've got more supervisors than you can shake a stick at but who or what they are supervising is beyond everyone, especially themselves. Most companies have a managerial structure Feltham has a family tree.

Employment lawyer will have to be magician in order to explain how come LON Branch staff were unaware for years they are due to get holiday in lieu (according to UK Employment Law) if they work bank holiday. Lawyer-magician could make disappear the fact that overtime rates wary according to personal alliances and when those rates change you would be the last one to find out as it's 'rude' to ask what your overtime rate is, apparently. And hands up who has taken lunch break in last 10 years... it's there in your contract, but god help you if dare to take it... so no one does. Some brave souls that tried in the last were reduced to tears in front of all and bullied for months afterwards. Go figure...we need a miracle here

Miracles aren't a problem we have women who were never pregnant giving birth. It's the mundane stuff like running a business that stumps the powers that be.

Your comment just confirms that some are still very comfortable at MKN or very much in denial, hoping their 'protectors' will provide for them when time comes. Don't be so naïve....Please note that 'protectors and aces' have not moved not because they were not trying desperately, going for interviews on quiet, knocking on every door that would open, its because nobody would employ them.... As soon as opportunity is there, so called 'leaders' will leave, leaving naive ones behind. Its time to check out.
